I can say I peered into the distance and under the light post ... two singular flurries ... SCORE ? this storm just wants to keep on snowing on us

Some light snow might be falling just to my west
I wish there was some more reports to my north but I expect if I just saw flurries then I should be getting light snow soon
It takes a second of watching but I saw flakes!

It’s official Raleigh NC near PNC area is seeing another flizzard ... I really have lost count ?
Wow it’s actually beautiful .. just those stale (but plentiful) flurries and snow flakes that either don’t move that much or just fly around like lightning bugs ... this winter has acted more and more like winter than ever ... something big is coming I feel it

Nothing is happening here under that band. It’s all virga. Probably need more virga to moisten the low levels

Drove my wife to work this morning. Roads are completely covered. Our driveway had 3-4” on it. Here is a quick measurement. This could be in a high spot. I’ll measure more after I get some better pictures.

One last picture post. Confirmed 6” all across the yard. First 6” event since 2018 for me.

I’m JUST over the border into TN. In Unicoi County. 3miles straight line to the NC border. I’m abt 3-4miles from the peak of Unaka Mt.

Looks like you will spend most of February looking at those same conditions...
Yeah it tried to pick up about 15 minutes ago before it quit started getting some legit size flakes and frequency

Yeah it appears so. 18 with this wind is brutal enough, can’t even think about those temps being modeled.

Didn't get anything last night here, now I'm on flurry watch because there are a few reports of a couple flakes in downtown Fayetteville.
I was gonna ask as I was looking at radar. We had some light flurries last night between 6 and 9 as well.
I'm about to head ur way lol

Congrats Fountainguy87. I was looking at Watuga Lake Cams and knew you where racking up. Ya'll did well. Boone area did to. They should wind down this afternoon.
Didn’t notice any snow before I went to bed, but I suppose it’s possible I got some light flurries overnight. Hard to say.

I just came off the mountain and it was ripping. The closer you get to spruce pine the harder it is.
We need to live stream a ROAN MTN STORM for these kiddos show em what a REAL SNOW is all about lol

Added 1.25 on the board since 8am.
snow is shin deep now with 7s” all over the yard. Full on winter wonderland. Occasional gust to 20mph.
I’m sure the peaks behind me are 12”+
