Yeah we got from 40-46 with the sun now back down to 44Clouds are finally rolling back in after about an hour of sunshine. Hopefully, they will stay put to minimize maximum heating.

Geez the hrrr deform band
It has been like that a couple times this year and has not been right. But other short range models show some type of band so it should be interestingIt’s been really consistent with that band too. Maybe it was onto something yesterday?

I saw them this morning but those models haven't been correct since the day they were created.
HRRR at least for the upstate had sleet on the precip maps but if you check the soundings they were a clear snow sounding. Even had winds coming out of the NE and N by 12z.HRRR with a ton of sleet mixed in with the snow. Would be an awesome event...if it's right.

Another thing I'm taking note of is the area of upper temperatures crashing now in SW GA near La Grange. These temps are almost at freezing at 850 now and if a heavy enough pocket moves up here we could see a brief break through like the HRRR is showing in the heaviest of pockets.
Yep, basically the warning areas down to the state line (plus SC mtns)WWA have been issued for the CLT metro area.
Where is the bird? He fly away?Birdman has to be loving his location right now.
Went all ham on MBY. I'm a little suspect of this but I hope it's right.
Nice. Thanks man!
This seems in line with the earlier 3km NAM's position of the deform band being favorable for the Sandhills/areas south of Raleigh than the Triangle proper.
Birds, just like the sky, need time to heal.Where is the bird? He fly away?
