Can’t wait. Thankfully not much is filming or we’d have every celebrity in town out pitching for their man and telling us poor dumb southerners how to vote.
Georgia peeps, it’s going to be a December to remember with regard to TV and Web ads.

I just find it hard to believe that out of all the southern states, Georgia may be the only one to vote for Biden.

Where you looking at ? Markets hot , Charlotte probably cheaper than Atlanta , Raleigh as well . Though Charlotte is cheaper than Raleigh . Although I’m sure you don’t want either of those cities, biggest recommendation is Winston Salem ! Cheap and pretty conservative area , right near the mountains and a solid 3-4 degrees colder than where you are year round . Won’t escape the winter warmth or lack of snow but your going to be in an area 2000 times better for it lol.
My personal preference has always been the coast though! New Bern area is a solid 10/10 for me !

I’m more surprised it took this long , Georgia’s demographics have always been more supportive of it .
I think the runoffs will show it was more a referendum on Trump than a swing blue. I’d put money that Loefler and Purdue win. A lot of suburban women that are center right just couldn’t vote for the orange guy. The other republicans got a lot more votes than he did.
If I had to pick an area it would be around the escarpment. I need mountains. Honestly, we’ve talked about a move to Maryville TN for years and that would be where we’d go. We go to the Smokies several times a year, have friends in the area, and I know everywhere like the back of my hand from going up there for nearly 40 years now. No state income tax either.

There is still a bunch to sort out for how many invalid votes were cast in Georgia as well as several other states. Once this gets to court we will see just how bad it was.

Went hiking at the Bailey Williamson Preserve in Knightdale! It is a 405-acre farm that was converted into a preserve and opened last month! 2 new preserves in the state opened this year! The awesome Cane Creek Mountain Natural area in Alamance County and the Bailey Williamson Preserve in Knightdale. Love to see it through the state is not doing enough at all to keep up with pace of development.

They are banking on us just saying whats the use, except it move on. Which is fine with the exception of accepting wholesale cheating/election fraud. This needs to be challenged to the 10th degree. If we dont it will only continue to happen and we are fools for allowing it.

While I wouldn't have picked it happening and said so before I "called a lid" on myself in the political thread early last week, Georgia's results just aren't that surprising or that far out there based off this:
The only surprise to me is that the state flipped as a possible referendum on Trump, as I was thinking that Trump would end up getting 50.5% of the vote this time in Georgia. I also predicted 2 runoffs.
The thing that I will add, and it might have been said already, is that part of the reason for the flip assuming we see it confirmed in the coming weeks might have to do with a substantial amount of RINOs that live in Gwinnett/Cobb that don't like a Trump/Kemp type Republican along with the demographics.
Since I honestly really wasn't following along that closely, there was other things that really surprised me involving this election, but that's for the Political Thread (I will give a hint though, I'm not suspecting fraud unless proven otherwise).
