This humidity will be the death of me. I just want some dry weather with dp's in the 40s or 50s. Is that too much to ask for ?

DP's in the 40's and 50's in June in N GA? Nah, I don't think that is too much to ask for. Not at all. It happens all the time. Actually, I think you should ask for 30's.

I'm very afraid this summer will be even more humid than usual with all the rainfall we've had. Honestly I think i'd prefer a bone dry summer with low humidity and lots of heat rather than a humid, rainy but less hot summer.

In all seriousness, you should get 50's DP's starting tomorrow. That's excellent for N GA. :)

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of northeast Florida and northern
Florida, including the following areas, in northeast Florida,
Baker. In northern Florida, Alachua, Bradford, Columbia,
Gilchrist, Hamilton, Marion, Suwannee, and Union.

* Through Wednesday evening

* Abundant tropical moisture associated with a slow moving low
pressure system will blanket the region through Wednesday
evening. Localized 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen over
portions of the I-75 corridor in Northeast Florida and the
Suwannee Valley this morning, with several rounds of
precipitation expected. Total rainfall of 3 to 6 inches are
anticipated in the watch area with locally higher amounts of 10
inches.
 
I love 95-105 temps and 30% humidity! :)
Got use to it last summer

The bolded sounds like a winter storm statement for RAH or GSP , then end up with an inch of sleet! :(

It's the best I can do on a rainy Tuesday while waiting for a doc to schedule an injection into my collar bone ...
But then - if anything in this realm was accurate, we'd have nothing to post and speculate and rant and wish about, would we? :cool:
 
I dont get why we are stuck in such a wet pattern. This is summer. The season of hit and miss storms. Fronts dont make it far south in the summer so what is causing all of this rain ?

For now, deep tropical moisture. Please go to Wiki and look at water vapor and air flow and you'll see! :cool:
 
For y'all who want hotter and dry after this week, some models are now trending well your way ... :mad:

But maybe it's just a late afternoon, 18Z or so hiccup ... :D

Honestly the radar is just summer in overdrive to me. I think a disturbance in the gulf is helping some but this lately, at least past Mississippi has been storms forming and then just blowing up.
 
Oh yea, just the good ole' 100 degree prediction by the GFS weeelllllllll after truncation.

Hmmm. Maybe but I doubt it.
