May get one storm Wilkes/Iredell line per NAM or over the brushy mtns
Today = suckage again
Tomorrow and Monday too. Tuesday probably starts the ramp up then Wednesday through next weekend looks great. Initial trough kicks through the NE second trough axis stays west. We likely get a front hung over the state with good chances of rain and highs only in the 80s.
Day 10 of the eps is great if you like rain, not great as far as the tropics though. This setup would really try to push any tropical system right into the SE coast

Ehh, those storms are really firing off the mountains. I wouldn't be surprised to see some action here later on today.
That's pretty awesome. We need more of those posted, I use the COD page but have to guess where cities/towns are

Back in town and this gift is on my doorstep. ?
NC has had more storms this summer. But part of the reason why the ATL area sees more is due to the terrain.
SC usually is drier than GA and NC.

I have had loud, constant thunder here for the last 5 to 10 minutes. The first rumble was very loud and shook the house. Hope it ends up being a good one and I actually see some lightning.
Impending OFB collision might just give me a storm.

I’m in that shower right now as well! Very good clip of rain here . Hasn’t let up wonder if it stays stagnant and rains out over us . Wonder what this area of Raleigh would pick up?
