Stratiform area that soaked the Triad all night dying out bigtime before it reaches Raleigh. It’ll just serve to stabilize the atmosphere and shunt any afternoon convection south of here.

Cloudy and cooler than forecast so my experience says rain chances are much reduced than we were hoping. Currently only 82 degrees and despite being a bit muggy it beats the crapshow of having HI of 105 by noon.
 
Given morning afternoon mess...coverage should get shunted south into SC/Charlotte NC. Finally a break for northern foothills.
 
Ok severe warning now covers my area and about 15 miles south. I’ll believe it when I see it.
 
Hmm. I am not sure CLT can even score today. Those storms look to stay in the Upstate and Midlands. Unless we see some more development...
 
In reality I can't complain if I get fringed here. 4.00" for the month.
