Yeah , only racism I saw at the Trump rally ( mind you I’m not white either , not black though) which I went to with my 2 black friends , was from the handful of protestors that bothered to show up. They really , really , REALLY shamed my 2 black friends . We were walking with a large crowd as the rally began and all we hear is a black girl screaming “ COME BACK MY BLACK KINGS YOU ARE BEING MISLED” and on and on , entire crowds eyes is on us . A bit uncomfortable , though the crowd was more supportive and had a look like really ? Not those ugly protestors though.I know of a few in town and four in my house
You a LEO? Ever been in that split second life or death situation? It's not yahoo news. That's the search engine. The article is from Business Insider.
Mr Brooks made some very bad decisions that night. There is no doubt there.
Maybe just maybe we have a cop with an itchy trigger finger though?
Most cops go their entire careers without using their service weapons and this cop uses his 3 times in 7 years and lied about it in one of the incidents!!?
That's gonna draw some serious scrutiny and it should.
I can't wait to vote 3rd party.
Who are you hoping he selects with the pick? They have some work to do in the libertarian party to get my vote this go round. I want someone who can at least get the 5% needed to get federal funding.
If they dont then it will boil down to Bidens VP pick.

Also anyone who doesn't think Kamala Harris won't bring some crazy left wing ideology into the WH once she becomes president is crazy. I agree with most that Biden is more moderate that a lot of his fellow Dems, but he is just a temporary puppet to win the election. Once he gets that part accomplished he will be pushed aside and Harris will then go farrrrrrrrrrr left.
Not sure why you felt the need to tell me that based on my post. Trump got more votes than both Romney and McCain, so just bc some of y’all decided not to vote GOP doesn’t mean he didn’t gain followers. He’s polling about the same as he did in 2016, so I don’t think he lost as many people as you expect. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets more overall votes than he did in ‘16 due to turnout.Yeah to bad the current asshole in the WH is so bad that millions of people that would have supported the GOP cant do it.....when folks like Rain Cold consider 3rd party then the GOP is doing something wrong....
I have posted with Rain Cold for literally decades, same with guys like Shaggy, Poimen and MariettaWx and a few others......I have been as they can attest a conservative for all those years, I have been in the trenches on the old Eastern poli board and the new one at AMWX getting called all manner of names by the liberals over there. So make no mistake none of us a remotely what you would call a liberal ( well except Marietta he is a dirty liberal ) and most of us are also not supporting Trump....so if Biden wins it will be more because Trump is president and people want him gone than it will be people think Biden will be a good president. The GOP had a chance to remove Trump, to right the ship and they let it go by and now we will see how that works out for them.

I see what you were initially saying now, thanks for the clarification. I agree there is a less than 5% chance Trump wins the popular vote. The point was even if Harris is the VP pick many people who would normally vote conservative will vote Dem or at least 3rd party....it doesnt really matter to them who the VP is at this point we all just want Trump gone. Trump is losing independents like crazy, and a lot of the Dem support he had in the rust belt is swinging solidly back to Biden....Trump may get more overall votes but Biden will get a lot more than Hillary did and again this comes down to 5-6 states.....those states are going to decide the winner and Biden is up in most of them, especially when you look at the Dem primary where he had much more support versus Bernie and Warren than Hillary did, this indicates the Dems are favorable towards him and this should make it harder for Trump to get those crucial dem voters in WI/MI/PA....the GOP is outnumbered there so the only way Trump wins is the Dems somehow have low turnout ( not going to happen it will be the opposite ) or he manages to pull a lot of Dems again, which also seems less likely.
I seriously doubt Trump wins the popular vote in fact he will probably lose it by a even bigger margin....but in the end that doesnt matter, what matters is who wins WI/MI/PA/OH/NC/FL/AZ.....and in those states people like me and the others I mentioned will certainly have a impact....

My point is that there was plenty of people like you in 2016 who said there was no way they could vote for a terrible human like Trump. They were going to write in or vote for Gary Johnson. Trump was goijg to lose all the independents because he was a bigot. We all see how that worked out. I agree with you though most people are not voting for Biden vs they are just really voting against Trump. My point is if he picks someone like Harris and she starts babbling her left wing agenda some of the FEW undecided ( how the hell is anyone undecided btw) could pivot.
I've heard conflicting stuff about Harris as the VP pick. One day I hear she's the frontrunner, then the next day someone says her record as a former prosecutor is a liability. This is all the proof you need to know of how divided the Democratic Party is at times. lol
Personally, I think it will be either Demings or the Atlanta mayor, but don't ask me to put real money on it. These VP picks almost never go how the experts predict.
That's odd. I actually thought she was more moderate than left wing, but to each their own. (when you say left wing, I think of more Bernie and Warren than Harris)I see what you were initially saying now, thanks for the clarification. Yeah I say Demings to show law and order but also the racial aspect of law and order.I've heard conflicting stuff about Harris as the VP pick. Deming is the best choice IMO given the current political landscape and issues with police reform....
Well gentleman, you seem to both be on the same page. (at least on this issue, lol)Yeah I say Demings to show law and order but also the racial aspect of law and order.
Yeah I think the Atlanta mayor too controversial now maybe I'm wrong thoughWell gentleman, you seem to both be on the same page. (at least on this issue, lol)
Demings seems to....how do you say? 'check a lot of boxes.' While doing this does help, it by no means guarantee anything in politics. I seem to remember reading in 2008 how HC checked a lot of boxes, and she didn't even get the Dem nomination that year.. (Too bad that wasn't her last try, but that's a whole other rant entirely)
A month is a long time in politics nowadays. I wonder if another name out of nowhere shows up between now and then?
A wall? I thought they were adamantly against that sort of thing?

lol I’m Mariettawx. Downeast is 100% correct about him being a conservative. He has been for as long as I’ve posted with him. I actually used to be a Republican voter. The tea party and then trump completely turned me off from them. I may one day support conservatives again but not until the republican banner looks a lot differently than it does under cheetodust.
and lol at “dirty liberal”

Everyone and I mean everyone was in complete agreement George Floyd's death was abuse of power and the officer should've been charged. We missed a golden opportunity to unify around that, instead its turned into a hate filled, broad brush everyone with a badge, free for all, lawless riot.Headline on wral says "Protesters tear down part of state monument". Protesters dont tear things down and destroy stuff. That's called Rioting. We really are a sick society.
I'm not a Trump fan, but this liberal ideology hasn't done a thing to improve the lives of minorities. And nobody has an answer for that except to say, "But Trump".
Be careful now. You meant hate filled, broad brush everyone with a badge, free for all, lawless protest. ?Everyone and I mean everyone was in complete agreement George Floyd's death was abuse of power and the officer should've been charged.
