Brainwash culture. It's amazing some people really believe what they're told without doing any research.
White privilege is a thing , it’s not saying that because you are white you don’t have to work hard . It doesn’t null your hard work . It is a thing though solely based on the fact white people are the majority in this nation and western aka white nations are the centers of science , wealth, and power. To a degree an Arab in a majority Arab country has Arab privilege . African in African etc.
You grow up white it’s easier to fit in you have more people who look like you and by extent more people to network with. Your name is easy to pronounce , your considered generally safe in this nation. There’s more that goes along with it as well.
What if a black person with dreads and a name like Chaquan applies for a job? Let’s be real because I do it too, imma look at that guy and have my doubts on his character because in this society someone like that has a higher chance of being “ dangerous “ and “ unsafe”. But is that true to every black guy with dreads named Chaquan? Think about all the people named Tyrone, Chaquan, Laquisha etc who seem to fit the mold of a stereotype and as a result miss out . Is it fair to the Chaquans who work hard , have college degrees , and are law abiding citizens?
I will also agree white privilege has become an insult, a word used to take away from the achievements and hard work of white people. That’s the problem , the left wants to point out a problem or symptom of society and demonize somebody , as a result the right which is reactionary by definition resists . We are truly stuck y’all, knee deep in mud.

As protests continue since George Floyd’s death on May 25, a 61 percent majority disapproves of how Trump is handling race relations (32 percent approve).
That matters, as 81 percent are concerned about racism and another 64 percent perceive racism as a major threat to the stability of the country. That’s on par with the coronavirus pandemic (67 percent major threat) and unemployment (67 percent major threat).
All in all, about 6 in 10 hold positive views of the protests after Floyd’s death (57 percent) and negative views of how Trump responded to them (56 percent).
Nearly one in five (18 percent) have participated in a recent protest, including 14 percent of whites, 35 percent of blacks, and 51 percent of blacks under age 45.
By a 13-point margin, more think police brutality against blacks is a widespread problem rather than isolated incidents (54-41 percent). There is a whopping 80-point race gap: blacks are more likely to say police brutality against blacks is widespread by 76 points, while whites are more likely to say it is isolated by 4 points.
I think iceagewhereartthou said it best, everyone is born with some advantages over others. In some instances being white is an advantage , in others black. Which is more advantageous being good looking or average? Tall or short? Tall men on average are more successful than shorter men, tall man advantage ?I don't know, that really is a stretch to call that white privilege. I could definitely see the argument you made be used in other ways as well and that is more tied to stereotypes and geographical location than skin color. For instance who gets hired, a clean cut, nicely dressed, well spoken black man named Tyrone or white guy from the backwoods, with a very thick southern draw, shaggy hair, old overalls and a name of Thaddeus?
Most of the arguements I'm seeing making the case for white privilege, could easily be made using other reasons as well.
Make no bones about it. We will see the day in our life where the pc crowd,Dems do away with the American Flag. Mark it down. Already erasing, re writing history. You don’t have to like Trump, you just have to not like this. If the republicans ran Condoleeza Rice I would vote for her if that kept this country from going to sh**. Which is where we’re headed already.

I’ve already seen people say we need a new flag and cancel July 4th. The left wants to let the past die.

Life is about making with what you got , I can’t help what I got but can help what I get .
Well they are at least complicit in his racism. So everyone who supports Trump is a white supremacist? That’s racist and pretty idiotic. You’re the problem.
I’m curious what you think he’s done to be a racist? Really curious because his support among people of color is up from his 2016 numbers.Well they are at least complicit in his racism.
So everyone who supports Trump is a white supremacist? That’s racist and pretty idiotic. You’re the problem.
So that would explain trumps uptick in support among people of color since 2016?Not all of them by no means. Nobody can deny that there is a significant portion that show racial bigotry. It's there and up front now that trumps in power.
So that would explain trumps uptick in support among people of color since 2016?
Well your math isn’t adding up to what the numbers show. I’d say there’s a good number of black people who support the president but don’t do so publicly. You know why? Because you have racist people like Joe Biden who say that they ain’t black if they don’t vote democrat. The most racist and bigoted thing I’ve heard from someone yet this election cycle. Not 1 single black person I know supports trump. Not 1
What about the chinese?????Not 1 single black person I know supports trump. Not 1
What about the chinese?????
This makes no sense to me. Trump signs an executive order on police reform to combat racial injustice, something that the first black president never bothered to do, and then she resigns? Not adding up.Dunno......Russians probably are really happy.
Here's a new article to my point. This is what hurts trump.

One of the highest-ranking Black women in the Trump administration resigns over Trump's response to racial injustice, saying it 'cut sharply against my core values and convictions'
Mary Elizabeth Taylor's resignation may be the first high-profile departure prompted by President Donald Trump's response to calls for police reform.www.yahoo.com

Words matter and trumps words have been atrocious on this front. Even today with his threat to any protestors trying to protest at his Tulsa rally.
Trump had 3 years to do something and he hasnt. He has done nothing but give winks and nods and tacit approval to violence against those he doesnt like.
The last couole minutes of this I thought were compelling.
I’ve already seen people say we need a new flag and cancel July 4th. The left wants to let the past die.
It’s okay to protest but you can’t celebrate the reason you get to protest. Absurd, ignorant, and despicable. Most of the 4th stuff is cancelled here but apparently all the riots were fine funny how that works
It’s okay to protest but you can’t celebrate the reason you get to protest. Absurd, ignorant, and despicable.
This is why you have people not wearing masks, social distancing, etc because people are using an on/off switch when they want it to fit the agenda.Same thing with Trump's rally oh but apparently George Floyd could have many funerals with thousands of people remember during the peak of the virus you couldn't even have a proper funeral
This is why you have people not wearing masks, social distancing, etc because people are using an on/off switch when they want it to fit the agenda.
Really? I know several. Not 1 single black person I know supports trump. Not 1
So I’m curious since you think signing this executive order is nothing; what did Obama do to combat racial injustice and police reform? Now remember, he was the first black president and in office 8 years.
A wall? I thought they were adamantly against that sort of thing? In other ironic news, CNN just put up a wall around their Atlanta studios....rueing the day.
why do you guys do this.....Obama is not president and when he was he sucked, and you mindlessly believe Trump when he says Obama and Biden did nothing.....however since you brought up Obama here is what he did and ironically Trump canceled this stuff when he became president and now tries to act like Obama did not do anything....and you believe it cause the kool aid taste good.

Trump, who reversed Obama-era efforts to demilitarize police, now falsely says Obama 'never even tried' to reform policing
Trump rolled back Obama-era policing reforms, including an executive order aimed at demilitarizing law enforcement.www.businessinsider.com

Trump says Obama didn't reform policing — but he did. Then the president ditched it.
Fact check: A look at the false claim that the previous administration was nowhere on an issue roiling the nation then and now.www.nbcnews.com
In August 2017, Trump reversed an Obama policy that banned the military from selling surplus equipment to police, a measure that had been put in place amid criticism over the armored vehicles, tear gas and assault rifles used to control protests after the police killing of Michael Brown, 18, in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014.
In addition, in September 2017, the Justice Department said it would stop the Obama-era practice of investigating police departments and issuing public reports about their failings. For example, the Justice Department had investigated the Ferguson Police Department and found unconstitutional, unlawful and racist behavior and policing within the department.
Those reports were used to demand change and negotiate consent decrees, legal agreements between local police and the Justice Department mandating reforms enforceable by courts.
