Can we heave the FV3 into the sun? Swear the old GFS, while not great, didn't pull total garbage like this.
Yes it did. It was horrendous. But I do agree that it should be heaved into the sun.

On second thought, if we just wait about a week, it's gonna feel a lot like the sun around here. Maybe it'll just burn up then.

I feel like a yo-yo; one day winter is on, the next day it’s off. Any chance we un-cancel winter tomorrow?

I'm confident to say that the writing is on the wall for any type of winter weather regardless if it was a possibility or not (which to God knows why we keep being fooled or played by every model that has showed cold) from now through the end of January the towel has been thrown for the rest of this month.. So let's see how Fab Feb turns out.. I'm going all in on all rain events through the remainder of January

Chris justice says northern upstate sc and mountains may see sleet/snow mix for about a hr Saturday morning

Yeah and he still seems intrigued by the first week in February..I guess he didn’t see the Euro this afternoon

I remember a simpler time where we used to track threats. A time when winter storms had something they lack these days....tegridy

I can't really recall a winter in the Carolinas when we didn't have a single threat to track. Even horrible winters of early 2010s had stuff to track. Thanks goodness I was in New England last two winters so I remember what a snowstorm look like.

My winter prediction was ONLY for one ice storm in February. Honestly I think that may bust. When I have kids they won't know what snow is the way these Winters have been going.
