I'm atheist. When Obama was president there was a co-worker swearing that because of the lurch to the left on gay marriage and such that gods wrath would come down on the USA. Hurricanes earthquakes.....typical old testament stuff.

No major hurricanes made landfall during Obama's tenure and yet we have had numerous major landfalls, fires and the 6.0 earthquake in cali.......when I brought that up the dude was less than eager to discuss it.
 
So what's the defense to sondland finger pointing major big time names as driving this QPQ. It presents a major problem for the trump admin no matter how its spun.

Jim Jordan doesnt want people to hear what he's saying. That's why he is talking like the people at the end of a car commercial. The faster he speaks the less people can comprehend the nonsense.

And neither have I but we have to look at ourselves how God sees it and we all fall short. That's the gospel. No one is any worse or better in God's eyes we are all sinners. Jesus died for the person that said a lie just as much as he died for the person that killed somebody and the reason for that is so man could not boast that they were better than someone else and deserve Heaven more than someone else. Sorry I know this sounds like a religious post but I was tying it into the political discussion.

The same reason he allowed Nero to take power and burn his people at the stake and have them fed to Lions. For good or bad, God definitely had Trump get in office as he did Obama. His plan trumps Trump or anyone else.

You are right, Obama isn’t the devil and Trump definitely isn’t the chosen one. The rest is just not accurate, but to each a choice to what he wants to believe.

Well don't get your hopes up....in fact this may have been a fake story all together probably put out by Russia....the Interfax story does not have a byline usually a sign of a fake.

But that didn't stop allies of President Donald Trump from widely disseminating the false account of an indictment,

It very well could be fake, but if I'm Russia and I want to spread some news it wouldn't be fake. I would leak it out slowly to cause most damage. Regardless if Biden actually had the prosecutor fired, Hunter Biden being on a company he had no business being on that was under corruption investigation almost assures nefarious dealings were going on and if I'm Russia I definitely want that scandal coming out.

Why leak small amounts that can be fact checked? Drop a big headline and get people to believe instantly like they did. Trumps supporters already believe this 100% after seeing this article and now any reduction of the story will simply be the deep state coverup.

Easy. When you leak small amounts out you get some like Sondland to do this and now if the Burisma guy is indeed indicted you have just made one of the “star” witnesses to appear he can’t find his backside with his hand. You also can then play the angle of the news media hiding the story. Lastly, the American public is quick to forget, so if you release it all at once, it’s quickly put out of mind. If I’m Russia and the article is fake, I’m moving money and pooling influence to make this happen.
