I'm liking how the snow is creeping up here slowly. Maybe the cold will make it down fast enough. In this instance I might not be sarcastic and say rates may overcome the surface warmth.
Lol the short range models look good now and the gfs goes to s###

That's probably 0.67" more than I'm probably going to get in FlorenceThe same ensemble of models that said 100% chance of at least an inch for Huntsville last night, and an average of 3.03 inches, now says .68 of an inch of snowfall on average here. Yeah, I"m not happy.
Ya it needs to get moving. The freezing line is way back to the NW![]()

NAM showing it down to 31 snowing here..then over2 things I feel confident about:
1) it’s not going to get below freezing for many areas that see snow while it’s snowing. Probably going to snow at like 35*
2) if you don’t have heavier precip it’s not going to be snow (or at least all snow).
Spann sounded a bit tense just now. Said maybe 1-2 hrs of snow. 1-2 inches. Just donno....
The ever-shrinking color map. I'm in the bullseye and I feel like my scope is off. Shooting Wide Left and Low.Latest from KBMx![]()

I would ask who Ella Dorsey is but it would be moved to banter.Ella Dorsey saying models trending to all rain for metro ATL. Lol wtf has she looked at tonight everything has trended better.
All rain for ATL? I doubt it, it may start off as rain briefly, but changing to snow quickly.Ella Dorsey saying models trending to all rain for metro ATL. Lol wtf has she looked at tonight everything has trended better.
lol she showed a model (pretty sure the HRRR at its longest range) that had ATL staying as rain through the event. She posted it as if it was a lock. All rain for ATL? I doubt it, it may start off as rain briefly, but changing to snow quickly.

I think everything is going as planned. The cold will start catching up. The models are showing the precip. as rain at first, but changing over. The 0c line is already catching up to the moisture.Tic...tic tic...tic tic. Needs to speed up guys. I know we are expecting a tilt and slowdown but times a wasting.
I dropped from 41 to 33 over the last 50 minutes so the cold is definitely moving faster now. Most of the moisture is gone but I am getting light flurries now.The freezing line is way back to the NW![]()
