Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

I'm so tired of these fast moving little snow systems that don't amount to much.... why we can't for once just get a long duration snow? last year twice in January and February it was a fast mover but when it rains its all damn day SMH
 
I woke the whole house up about 2 this morning. Fell asleep on couch watching and waiting for every comment on here. Laptop, Phone and Glasses crashed to the floor. Dogs up, Husband busted out of bedroom thinking something big was happening. I said sorry it was just me, was looking at forum..Then I fell asleep and dreamed about a BIRD nibbling at my face (that must be a signal of winter weather right??) LOL!!
 
Anyone want to guess how far off JB’s sub frigid -5 area for DJF will end up being? We already knew a month ago that his sub -5 DJF for the heart of the SE was toast mathematically despite him still believing it would verify even a couple of weeks later. By the way, expect him to emphasize March more and more as Feb looks more and more like a fail in the models. Unfortunately, he will now use the expected record cold Chicago/Midwest that is expected for a few days later this week as evidence of a great winter forecast lol.

This winter will be +2 here, atleast! Worst bust yet by him! He can polish his turd anyway he wants, he’s still a turd!

Well considering first 3rd of February looks like this I guess we will finish probably be +4 to +5F. This will the 4th AN winter in a row...new norm

I knew it was a bad sign when this thread had 4 new pages and a bunch of memes about our show threats dying. Riding the NAM off the cliff looks like the only option. IT WILL SNOW TUESDAY AND!
 
Record cold coming and we have 3 BN days in the next 2 weeks. With the modeled latter we will hit 60’s a few times.

I bet we have more days in the 60’s than we do with lows below freezing in Feb

Good, let's move on to spring I'm sick of winter anyway.... give me consistent warm temps and let me dry out some.
 
I hear all this talk about the 28th fat ladies singing and it looks like they are taking their breath before singing at this point. Let's hope they don't sing a second song for our Tuesday storm too.

I know I shouldn't complain, I had 7" of snow with that storm..... BUT it finished as rain leaving 4" of slop and I really didn't enjoy it at all. 4" of slop isn't fun plus with the blockbuster winter just getting started I blew it off and said I've got another one coming.

They've decided to hold off another 24 hours so they can sing once for both systems....

Yep, had that event occurred now and not have poured rain after we would feel good about this winter. I never actually considered that would be our only event. Even in our crap weak ninos we get a couple of 1-2” events in Jan/Feb.
