Misc Winter Whamby 2020, a New Decade

This is the worse kind of winter. Gets cold and dry for a few days, warms up, rains, dries out and gets cold for a few days, and repeat. You can't even enjoy the warm days because of the rain. If it isn't going to snow, which it looks like it won't, at least stay dry when it's warm. But this is winter now in NC because our climate sucks now.

Holy heck.... its cold out! I just took the garbage out (and went number 1 as it’s awesome living in the country on acreage) Sorry, I couldn’t resist. ??. 27 actually felt good in the lungs. Can’t wait til morning low of 19 Raleigh is calling for.
 
Tonight's low is supposed to be 28 in Charleston. If it reaches it, it will be the coldest temp since Jan 20, 2018. At least we can say this winter was colder than last. ?
 
Late Fab Feb and Marvelous March are about to be rockin’! We throw away 80% of winter to make hay in the last 20%! Fab Feb 2004 and Marvelous March 1980 reduxes incoming!!! Maybe even an April 1915!!!!!! modernweenie
 
It only made it down to 25 this morning at RDU. We even suck at getting cold. Pathetic.

Reminds me of 2016-17 where the low temperatures consistently ended up 1-3 degrees warmer than forecast. This winter is a virtual lock to finish warmer than normal, and at this rate, no measurable snow (or perhaps even no snow at all excluding isolated sleet reports back in November) looks not unreasonable at all. It hasn't snowed at RDU since 2018, some areas in the Deep South have had flurries at least since then.
 
Planning on having a feature to donate money if you like a post. Big posts will even feature how much money that post or comment made. Very exciting.

To build on the why?
