Better than all the Mets forecasts!!

I would tell you to stop with this nonsense, but you're an obvious troll.

Farmer's almanac forecasts can't verified against reality because they never put any actual numbers or figures w/ their temp or precipitation outlooks, they're not conducted by actual, legitimate, & honest scientists they have a "black box" approach that apparently " relies on sunspot activity, tidal action, planetary position and many other factors." none of which have been shown to have any significance in literature or verifiable reality in influencing daily weather, they also produce the most overgeneralized statements in their outlooks s.t. they are more likely to verify if extreme warmth or cold is realized, when they actually attempt to make a forecast, they bust... hard. You don't have to go back very far to find an example of this:
"The 2014 (Farmer's Almanac) Winter Outlook,[9] which called for a winter storm to hit just about the time Super Bowl XLVIII was to be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (no such storm materialized, and the weather was actually warmer than average at the time of the event)."

To top if off, you're trying to prove their legitimacy to me by showing a February forecast that hasn't even verified yet.

You might want to go back into the corner and pick up that coloring book you dropped on the ground.

Mods please move this garbage out of here. Stay focused people....

Maybe you should actually tell this to the troll who's been incessantly posting one-liner responses about how good the unverifiable Farmer's Almanac outlooks are instead of whining at an actual meteorologist who knows what they're talking about

Folks,
No one is happy with the weather and the forecast and the models (well, all but maybe a couple aren't); regardless, it's not cause for constant whining, bitching and most importantly throwing darts at other posters.
I get rain twice this week, and that will wash the pollen out. Now pollen in January ... a reason to have issues, but find a bright side, or perhaps take an afternoon off.
Best,
Phil

Needless to say...I don't come on here to act like how I do sometimes with sports 95% of the time or to see people acting like that...lol. Only time I used to do things like that...was when I was a 13-15 year old.

ATL still recorded at least a trace during that span
04-05: 0.5”
05-06: T”
06-07: 0.1”
07-08: 1.4”

ATL hasn’t gone 2 years without at least a trace of snow since before the period of record which is 1931. If ATL remains snowless this year, that record will be broken.

The last time ATL was snowless before last year was 1936-37

You're right I didn't use the site to go back and double check on those like I should have. I was going off memory, I remember us getting back to back snow in January 2008 in a one week period, the only highlight of that winter. I mostly blocked out 2005-2007 except for the ice storm we had in January 2005. Those years were a complete dumpster fire clusterf----. We might not have a snowfall average as high as some of the members here or get the big dogs, but we don't usually go long stretches w/o measurable snow so if we miss out this year 2020-21 may be more promising.

Been raining for a few hours no sleet from the start or anything wintry.. Then my wife calls and says SLEET is hitting my windshield, I said no way! So i put my trusty Eddie Bauer puffy coat on and went outside (works good for checking weather) and sure nuff sleet was mixing in with the RAIN COLD................. So I got my 10-15 pellets of sleet. #winning #awesome #winter

Because it literally does anything it can for it not to snow
Hey man, I was you on this site a couple years ago. I got on here and whined and complained and did a bunch of complaining about my area never getting hit. Then I realized no one really cared to much and that I wasn’t really contributing to anything on the site by doing it. Take that for what it’s worth.

Didn't see any snow in Boston, somehow got sleet my last day there .

Before leaving yesterday temps fell to near 10F with wind chills below 0, I was certainly thrilled to come back to NC w/ temps in the 40s as I could feel my face again. As much as we (myself included) complain about the lack of cold & snow around here, I'm not sure if I could handle an entire winter up there, the sun angle is much lower (basically in your eyes the entire day) & goes down noticeably earlier in the evening, the cost of living in the NE US is absurd, people are collectively just plain rude and more self-centered, plus there's no Bojangles! Trading a little southern comfort for some snow in winter is something I can kind of live with.

yeah, I’ve never seen anyone retire and move to Boston
