It is not just ATL, either. There is nothing on current modeling for 16 days that is anywhere close to wintry weather for Atlanta. All my chips are riding on first week in February. I should know if I'm broke by third week in January. So far, this winter is worse than last winter. I'd rather it be warm and save on heating costs.
Dude you can't just throw around the "nuclear option" like Putin without elaborating exactly what that is...Need one of these mid range runs soon or I might choose the nuclear option View attachment 140424
We were led to believe LaNina was warm based west? WTF?And a kick in the ??'s Tucson, AZ. https://x.com/NWSTucson/status/1744114606476296218?s=20
Those Azaleas at Augusta National are going to be beautiful come April![]()
Ready to head to Georgia for some January golf? What a lame winter.
?Yep. Heck, I'd just like SOMETHING to track for more than 1-model run. We haven't even had a good fantasy storm or rug-pull in a while.
It's still funny to me though for the last few years all I've heard was ninos are the best, we just need another nino, wait until we get a nino. Well here we are
Being 200+ hrs out went wrong. It'll be different at 0Z. We'll be jammin again within 48 hrs I guarantee. Then we won't again after that. Real question is will we ever get a good look and storm inside the 168 hr windowWhat went wrong to make them go the wrong direction? Colds still coming.
This El Nina sucks. Can’t wait for La Nino.
Might never see something like this again. Did I do it right?Need one of these mid range runs soon or I might choose the nuclear option View attachment 140424
Even I’m not complaining lol way more members shear out this way more then anything instead of the few that amplifyThe meltdowns are occurring in the circled area ???View attachment 140435
I’ll be honest sometimes I forget anything past Georgia is even considered the south. The meltdowns are occurring in the circled area ???View attachment 140435

Enjoy. The meltdown outlook tomorrow is probably not that great . We'll probably get some encouraging runs tonight or tomorrow. Then Tues folks will be focused on the wind and rain. However the meltdown outlook for Wednesday is high as we will be due a complete disaster of long range model cycles by thenForecasting meltdowns around here sure a lot easier than forecasting weather…..
Most of the people that post on this forum live below the blue line. When you get the very lightest gray showing up over your house, that isn't the best, shall we say, signal for a big snowstorm.
You now belong in the outside the SE thread. Traitor. You cheated on me and left ?Pattern looks extremely favorable for a lot of wintry potential in the SE. After the 2 big Midwest storms coming up.. look out! That cold will spill down and then the potential for a decent overrunning event is there.
A pretty classic look overall.
I would be excited if I still lived in the SE
Although I’ll be getting my own action here in southern Illinois!
Cheers.
BAMwx babyOh wait its a step down process.. It will in Feb...

Fabulous pattern for winter of 24-25
That will be the playbook for all of the weather shysters(weather service sub providers) we have on the net.?????
Is that good?looks warm. I’m not a met though View attachment 140440
Depends on if it is skewed by a few radically wonky membersIs that good?
They could end up with the better seasonThe only thing worse than our winter is the Panthers. And their season just ended.
