I should start a podcast talking about wrestling and weather.
Man I think so too. Plenty of traffic and commerce down this road and getting busier by the day. With all of the golf courses and farmland around here being bulldozed for subdivisions I believe there is a niche to be filled. It preserves green space and gives people a place to escape and come hit balls into an old terraced cotton field backdrop. Minimal overhead and what man doesn’t like to beat balls and get out of the house for an hour or two during the week? I stopped by one in Spartanburg today and they charge $10-$20 per bucket and also offer $650 yearly membership rates. Guy picks the range twice a week in the winter/fall and 3x a week in the summer. 25 bays/mats and says they fill up a lot of days/nights in the summer time. I think it’s a winner. Its a very good idea, Drive Shak is very popular so if you can capture some of that spirit with your own neat twist it would be a success
Does the carpet match the drapes? 👁Bald is beautiful.
and this wouldn’t be anything like drive shack/top golf. This would be a farm style driving range. May require a little bit of netting. Overall very basic to start with a country style setting away from the commercialized Main Street corporate feelIts a very good idea, Drive Shak is very popular so if you can capture some of that spirit with your own neat twist it would be a success

It’s owned by Jay Haas and his family now. I used to love eagle zone! The original top golf!Damn! That sounds like Eagle Zone
Or whatever it’s called now?
I also miss the early bird! I think before 9 am, you could get the giant bucket (153) balls for 9$It’s owned by Jay Haas and his family now. I used to love eagle zone! The original top golf!
Lake effect snow machine cranking in Western NY. Think about that for a second. That use to be an early winter thing as the lakes would freeze eventually and end the threat. Not this year apparently.
I disagree. Next week looks sunny with temps in the 60s and 70s. Sounds like great golfing weather. This upcoming 8-9 day stretch kind of sucks.. pattern is going to throw what are really 3 legitimate waves at us and all 3 are likely to fail for one reason or another

We are back bro. She comin. Pizza for everyone.Come on guys we didn’t know the Carolina crusher was going to crush til we were all hanging out by the swimming pool and the temp dropped 60 degrees in 15 minutes. The rest is history. Got to believe this thing is gonna go neg tilt
How DARE you bring up this set up, especially after the (lack of) winter we've had!View attachment 146591On this day 3 years ago we had a really nice winter storm. I think we had about 10” in Indiana. Does anyone remember this storm ?

The taxes are just the start. Half a million$ will barely get you a shack in socal these days. My wife’s brother is literally driving out to Nashville from California as I type. It is insanely expensive and unless you are rich it’s very hard to make a decent living. Unfortunately everyone from Cali is now moving to Nashville Texas and Florida.I don't like their taxes. Would be best to stay put where I'm at without the hard freezes.
This reminded me of the emoji I would add if I could. THE THROW UP ONE!The taxes are just the start. Half a million$ will barely get you a shack in socal these days. As a fellow Californian I wish they’d stop coming. I’ve been out here since 2006 so I consider Tennessee my home state now. Even my little town of White House has added massive amounts of houses and apartments. I always think about the damn heat island effect as they rip out trees and add asphalt. This reminded me of the emoji I would add if I could. THE THROW UP ONE!
And don't forget GA. Ever since the influx started the usual snow went away. hmmmm. I do not blame people for fleeing but the end product of this is questionable...It's very interesting. I doubt there has ever been a time when people were moving around like they are now. It's wild.
Can’t have it both ways, you fled California no reason you shouldn’t expect your brethren to not do the same . They will keep pouring in. Idk, I’m of the opinion grass is not greener on the other side mostly … people flee states and move south because they saw a list or two saying how cheap and laid back and warm etc etc it is… in reality , your problems aren’t cured by moving states for the most part … keep the building coming, Nashville will swallow White House … not a little town anymore . The south as a whole outside of Mississippi is going to become an obese Walmart parking lotAs a fellow Californian I wish they’d stop coming. If our counties and cities would stop the "if we build they will come" this wouldn't be happening. They are selling us out. It's disgusting. Hopefully there will be something positive that I don't see in the end.As a fellow Californian I wish they’d stop coming. I’ve been out here since 2006 so I consider Tennessee my home state now. You didn’t read my post, I said moving isn’t always the solution! Then move.
That’s the south, it’s our politics , most of our leaders are directly involved in real estate, construction, and development in general… it is what it is and nothing will stop it. It certainly is not sustainable and it is bankrupting… one giant Ponzi scheme . Keep ‘em coming !If our counties and cities would stop the "if we build they will come" this wouldn't be happening. 10-4 father. I will obeyHello. I don't mind if you guys want to discuss this stuff but let's have a thread in the OT section so when it ultimately becomes political I can lock it. Thanks

Thank you
Same crap happening in South Carolina and even the NRV of Virginia. Can't people be happy and just stay put?As a fellow Californian I wish they’d stop coming. Virginia is gorgeous, 10 million times nicer than NC. Charlottesville is a very beautiful town and built very nice . Lots of countryside, honestly VA probably has the nations prettiest country side. NC on the other hand has next to none unless you like the swamps of Hyde county.Same crap happening in South Carolina and even the NRV of Virginia. Can't people be happy and just stay put?![]()
Oh stop it. You are exaggerating. Virginia is nice but it's not 10 times nicer than NC.Virginia is gorgeous, 10 million times nicer than NC. I mean even the small towns in Virginia are built nicely
It's definitely nicer than NC. No question.Oh stop it. You are exaggerating. Virginia is nice but it's not 10 times nicer than NC.
