Misc Winter Weather Support Group

Not giving up yet but if we've lost the 13th/14, the 17th and now maybe the 20th/21st. Going to get tough to have positive vibes looking out beyond the 25th for something. Climo then weighs on us heavily even up here in the Triangle by then

Yeah that was probably a strong word. Current 12z euro modeling seems to have us too warm (locally) for them attm. Will change I'm sure.
 
Thats where hes annoying now is hes rude and talks down to ppl. Back in the day when I was like 14/15 and he just started hed answer you even if you had like 3 followers and be super cool too, now he meets everything with an attitude that comes off as a "im smarter than you" vibe. We get it man, you have a 125K followers ect but no need to be an ass. Jeff Crum/Matt East from TWC 14 far nicer hell Crum hangs out at a bar over in Huntersville and will actually talk to you ect. Brad has turned into the type that would have a cop escort you away if he was an athlete ect

This one right here would be the one if it was to produce, TPV extension into the eastern US trough probably means a pretty suppressed height field, with cold in place. which would favor southern solutions. Also can see the southern stream undercutting. The NE US trough/Baja low couplet is an old classic, but do they happen anymore ? Guess we will see. If it doesn’t we can add “Baja lows don’t work like they use to” to the “it doesn’t work like it used to” list

It's absolutely possible. The players are generally on the field at 198 hours out. That's an eternity.

That said it's weird the generally negative posters really bring nothing to the table besides their feels, the generally overly optimistic posters can turn a SER into a raging CAD storm. There's a real lack of digging into what's happening to get a fruitful discussion other than model outcome maps.

I think this thread has become a collector of ---- posts and really the source of toxicity and negativity. I'd love to kill it but the ---- posts would then just go into the main thread

Brad has always been anti-snow! Don’t know why this is shocking to most??
