It's all or nothing on the GEFS members. I counted two major snowfalls, one minor and a couple of light powders in SC by the coast, of all places. Most of the members are just plain rain for everyone but the mountains.
My in laws passed away in late 17.
They didn't sell that property till May of last year.
Turned a very good profit.
If you can sit on it,
It will increase the value exponentially.
Really just depends on how badly you need the money.

I feel ya man. As much as I toot the horn of positivity non stop, I am actually a realist also. And I really REALLY like this pattern coming up for the back half of February. Personally, I am completely all in on it. No backing down now.Mitch love your optimism.

Everyone talks about the crusher. It was anything but that here. Watching a foot plus of snow fall to my East and we got nothing here. I’m all for a I85i/I40 and nw type of set up. Just like the old days.
Interesting map...so for RDU its been the following 6" events since turn of the century. If we can somehow get another this year or next that would be 6 in 25 years. That's really not that bad. And hopefully that 8 year gap is the longest we got to deal with again.

Give mid February a shot. Things seem to be lining up to at least give us a window. I'm not sure about the whole March narrative, but since a better pattern is now showing up on ensembles, I'm getting confident on at least one more chance.
I used to have the individual storm data in excel but I lost it. It would be interesting to see the return period on 6+/12+ for rdu
