Or even this season's Bills. Wide right. It's a shame to be so close yet so far away. Another one slipping through our fingers our winters have turned into the early 90s buffalo bills and global warming is the cowboys
So 6 years for most of the state. That’s sad.
was not aware that it's been 5+ years since practically any of the non-mountain parts of the state have seen 6+, jeez
Yeah I feel like at the very least, that area around Rutherford/Polk/Haywood mightve done better in 2022 than indicated.Might need to fact check that map....
Was hoping we'd get a little something next Monday to carry us through so tracking into mid/late Feb would be on the board once we got towards the end of next weekNeed to score on Mondays opportunity. I aint never gung ho chasing patterns after mid February. Overwhelming evidence suggest week 3 is stellar, but week 3 is 3 weeks away and by the time it gets here, winter is flying out the exit door.
I deleted my post but I checked webbs maps and 2022wasn't as full of 6 inch events as I thought statewideYeah I feel like at the very least, that area around Rutherford/Polk/Haywood mightve done better in 2022 than indicated.
Edit: looks like map ends in 2021.
14 years for the southern half of Wake. I wonder what the longest streak of years without 6 inches is, and without at least 1 inch.I deleted my post but I checked webbs maps and 2022wasn't as full of 6 inch events as I thought statewide
More's the pity. We can add 3 years to that map and it has changed very littleI deleted my post but I checked webbs maps and 2022wasn't as full of 6 inch events as I thought statewide
6. Unimpressed. How did this work out?
I feel like we’re still paying for that one around here and will be for some timeThat map doesn't include 2022 snow

Does your parents own it, if so then why did they sell it to the school district? So my parents currently live in my grandmas house since she passed away 2 years ago. It is where I grew up and means a lot to me. Unfortunately it is being sold to the school district it is right beside and they only want the land not the house. So it’s gonna be tore down in a few months. I was really hoping to get one last snow and spend it there with my kids before it’s gone. I hope I get the chance.

Unfortunately your spot on here.Wish I could see the light here on this one but I don’t. It’s not even marginal.
Everything around them is being sold. What once was a nice house with some acres is now surrounded by other stuff. And the few houses that are around them are selling too. Kind of no choice nowDoes your parents own it, if so then why did they sell it to the school district?

They won't get maximum value if they sell now. Ask them to reconsider and possibly even commercialize the land themselves.Everything around them is being sold. Well they are getting a nice chunk considering the house is useless to the buyer. Basically getting way more than 3 acres is worth. But idk anything about that stuffThey won't get maximum value if they sell now. Ask them to reconsider and possibly even commercialize the land themselves.
If opening their own Chick-fil-A isn't in the cards, the longer they hold the better. Being the very last pieces of property standing will get developers in a frenzy of who can talk them off it. Every time a new building goes up close by, the value increases.Everything around them is being sold. What once was a nice house with some acres is now surrounded by other stuff. laws have changed since 1911. If the government wants you land thy will get it. ED laws in SC are straightforward if you understand the laws.Look up Nail House
A lot of examples of property holdouts. I’ve always wanted to be one of these people
Easiest way to get it is to just keep raising property taxes. Which we’re seeing a lot of now. That’s how they help their developer friends get their hands on big pieces of property.laws have changed since 1911. If the government wants you land thy will get it.
