Looking through the progression of the pattern from now through ten days on out on the GEFS is crazy reminiscent to 2014.

And I should note...atleast for Raleigh, our 3 best snow events in the past decade were all in nina's. 2/14, 1/18, 12/18. Feb 2015 was great, but it comes in 4th to those 3.

It's no wonder NYC hasn't seen 1"+ snow in almost 2 years. That's really hard to fathom actually...it's been that long.

QBO theory says the flip back to +QBO should favor the more poleward ridge composite.....but we have 80,000 days to debate and analyze that before next winter
Oh...didn't know the +QBO impacted that...but that's atleast something for us to clutch onto.
