Wintry Winter Storm Dec 7-10

Well today it's apparent in NAM, CMC, GFS there's a track and sorta bullseye area thru SE just moderates between all of them on how far N and amounts

Can someone post cmc regional map, my cmc is stuck on hr 36. Thanks

The EURO looked much better last night from what I saw. The EPS had ramped up a bit too. I am speaking for Alabama though

looks like there is a chance i could at least see some flakes flying if the trend continues. I really just want my NC ski resorts to get some snow and cold so I can enjoy some good snowboarding! The trend for them has been going the right direction at least.

Temp down to 37.7 from 40 with all this Virga overhead. Nothing I’ve seen reach the ground yet.

So for central NC.... basically the Euro op is all we got atm, even last nights eps was NW. Well might as well hope for bombogensis now, go big or go home at least then I'd see some backside snow

I agree let this baby bomb off of SC and track off the coast where enough cold air is pulled in and us in the eastern locales receive back end snow.

Well, the models never get winter storms exactly right here. All they can show is the potential. What happens will happen.

Anyone in East Central AL (in the Cheaha vincinity specifically) see anything falling? TWC radar and a few others are showing shades of pink around those higher elevations. With temps in the low 40s, I'd be willing to bet that it is just rain, but would be curious if there's any ground truth.

Met here brought up a point about wet bulbing going on in the heavier pockets of precip between BHM and MGM, temps in the upper 30s in those areas.
