Is that the jax-sav crusher I heard about ?

As long as the ridge keeps its axis over the NE and we keep the weakness over us I've got no problem with this pattern. If we lose that weak upper level energy it'll be uglyMan I don’t know if I like the trends here we could turn this into a humid roast with very isolated storms, although cape would probably be high and globals do like to be to isolated with storms, but euro has backed away from the more disturbed flow it had in previous runs View attachment 84600
Should check out the euro that weak ULL retrogrades back over to us on the euro to a position where it gives us good storms that’s interestingAs long as the ridge keeps its axis over the NE and we keep the weakness over us I've got no problem with this pattern. That pattern is ripe to trap something with the rapid build and the jet disappearingShould check out the euro that weak ULL retrogrades back over to us on the euro to a position where it gives us good storms that’s interesting
This week is going to be fun ... time to strap in
50.0, so close but no upper 40s to start June..... still felt great this morningShould start June off in the upper 40s, amazing stuff
I like that little piece of energy around Texas .. will at least keep the possibility open for stormsWent from a nice disturbed look at H5 to a heat dome with icon showing low-mid 90s, Ew View attachment 84627
We need that over AL/GA, otherwise we get a look more similar to what we just got that gave us those 90s and rain to our westI like that little piece of energy around Texas .. will at least keep the possibility open for storms
And that is what we will get. Another year like 1993 coming up.Went from a nice disturbed look at H5 to a heat dome with icon showing low-mid 90s, Ew View attachment 84627
What happened in 1993?And that is what we will get. Another year like 1993 coming up.
You can already see the pacific ridge retrograding on the icon. Another short term bout of heat followed by a backdoor front and potential wedge in mid JuneWent from a nice disturbed look at H5 to a heat dome with icon showing low-mid 90s, Ew View attachment 84627
This is turning into Melbourne Australia but worse , see they hit 110 then the next day have a high of 60. We hit 90 and then get 5 days of 60s and a frost. I propose dumping freshwater in the Labrador current and shutting it down so that crappy cold water from Greenland stops fueling these nasty back door fronts .You can already see the pacific ridge retrograding on the icon. I'm not sold on the wedge idea honestly. You can see how we could get there as the western ridge/trough couplet retrogrades the ridge over us should too which would open the door to slide something into the NE and send backdoor front onto our area. The more likely solution may be a beating down and flattening of the ridgeThis is turning into Melbourne Australia but worse , see they hit 110 then the next day have a high of 60. True luckily it’s the icon long rangeWe need that over AL/GA, otherwise we get a look more similar to what we just got that gave us those 90s and rain to our west

This is still a dirty active flow on the gfsView attachment 84630
Sure why notShould we make a thread for Thursday feel like there will be a enough severe wx for a thread
The summer of 1993 was very hot and fairly dry to start east of the Apps. I remember CLT had a few days of 100 degree heat late June and early July. While that was happening the central part of the country was getting drenched and a huge flood was occurring all along the Mississippi River. As the summer went on it did start to get wetter over the southeast. What happened in 1993?
Trying to retrograde the upper energy our way at 198
