Good god. Talk about a double whammy for Charlotte. Yesterday than today. Drove home in this mess. Could barely see the road. Standing water is literally everywhere. Constant lightning/thunder. And it's still going on. Not complaining at all though. This is one of the many reasons I love living in the Carolina's/South. Can't beat this type of weather!

Yeah and mlcape is still good too but the stuff near GSO is losing intensity as the OFB drives out front. The stuff E of CLT to near CAE is interesting since it hasn't become dominated by outflow and may have a little LL inflow. I'm interested in the area just NE of CAE it almost looks like a weak MCV may be trying to get going which could give us a chance. Otherwise it's hard to find a reason for this to progress to our areaStill 86 outside with plenty of CAPE.

This has definitely been the best storm rainfall-wise this season. Now at 1.8 inches and still coming down heavy

I believe the rain moving in started being effected by @SD’s grass ... so dry it sucked the life out of the atmosphere ? ... I have a good feeling about tomorrow the CENTRAL NC BOYS will strike their pot of gold soon again!

My guy I said nothing your the one inciting all this. What does that tell us? It reveals the true depth of your bitterness last few days . I’m pretty happy I love this weather and you know it lmao. As I said , enjoy it will be another week or something before your next storm. I’ll enjoy my storms .
Hrrr shows mountain convection tomorrow wonder if we can get some to push east off outflows

I think going forward the flow aloft is really gonna be ideal for just that. With any luck we should all be able score some good storms as the week progresses. Hopefully I get to experience my favorite one day this week… outflow from the west colliding with the sea breeze front right over me…and BOOM!! Either way, I’m at 4.13 inches since last Thursday now, so definitely no complaints for me.
