The June Thread 2021

I wonder if that line down trying to get its act together in GA/TN is what the HRRR is picking up on later on this evening into tonight. If so, I think we definitely are on track to get one or, even two rounds of storms moving in from the west. That moist boundary to the east should be enough to get some decent warnings later on tonight.
 
Had a lot of rain yesterday evening, and had a good storm roll through around 3:30 this morning. Hearing more thunder now and the sky is dark.
 
The annual average dewpoint at RDU is 49.4, annual average low is 50.4. Wow! 1-degree difference, indicative of a very good station with minimal uhi impacts.
 
I swear I end up getting better storms when they are the scattered summer variety than when we are under a supposed severe threat.
