I'm up to 4.3 in 3 nights and two days. I like this a whole lot better than drought. Love that rain train that set up today. Wave after wave of torrential rains all night and all day today. Just kept forming up down around La Grange, and headed up over me. I think I like a cut off low, winter or summer about as much as any weather feature. And the best part is they wander away, then sometimes they wander back

I'm up to 4.9 after last night and this morning. I feel for all those missing out, as I've been there, and this is better Ah, the vagaries of weather. For years I missed out on every rain chance, or got a tenth while people 40 miles away got inches. Well, I like this side of the table much better, where every rain drop finds me, instead of missing by a mile. For everyone missing out, trust me...the worm turns. Of course, with me, it took years to turn the worm, hope it's less for ya'll, but it will turn....it always does. The pendulum swings...then swings back.

Looks like between 2.5-3” here since Wednesday. CJ nailed this one. Which gets his forecast percentage up to 4%
Someone post southeast drought maps when they come out. Red and yellows should be all but gone

I can most definitely eat crow. This storm this afternoon has to be at least 2" once it wraps up. Holy smokes.

I guess all the rain came yesterday. Forecast has been a bust here today so far.
Brownsville is reporting 96 degrees with a dp of 80 which gives them a heat index of 116 !

These summer storms can be so stubborn. The back edge will often appear to be knocking on the door, only for the pooping storm to keep back building.

Traveling with the fam, saw some of that absurd rain in and around Hickory yesterday. Then today in Nashville, Tn just NE of the city got under a FFW thanks to this, fell in about an hour. Crazy stuff

I hate dewpoints over 65 ! I have asthma and i swear the higher dewpoints make it harder for me to breathe.
