$AMD is one of my bigger stocks I own now...added a bunch from $103-$116, avg about $110. But, running up against trendline resistance.

SPY rejected at $438 again today. Nice to see it respect some levels instead of just blowing through every resistance.

This level was rejected hard last summer.

You buy puts on Q's? That sure is a nice topping candle building...gave up Friday's high very quickly.

Was waiting on 350 but so was everyone else. Dumped before it got there. Downtrend still very much in tact. Really bad news this week and we’ll see something we haven’t in quite a long time.CF93F910-6CBD-4D1D-9571-80E28C545C71.png

Haven't looked at the VIX in over an hour but based off what I've been seeing, my guess is that the market was trading on hopes for de-escalation and my question is why?

Since there's no de-escalation, the options flow flips because you have "them" putting on the war hedges, which drags the market lower because market makers have to short sell when puts are bought, and then you possibly have a buyers strike and just slowly leak lower.

Edit: Based off the way the VIX started, I think everyone got caught off guard by what the EU did. But I'm all for it and it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Anyone know what the market usually does after the state of union address ?

Downgrading toilet paper quality. Big savings. Deficit solved.
My wife bought some real John Wayne toilet paper from Costco a few months back. Felt like 60 grit and took 3 months to go through it all. Might help costs but civil unrest would be a b@#%&.
