This makes no sense lol. Why? Because they found a way to win, they are 13-0, conference Champs of a power 5 conference. It's not rocket science it's what's fair. Anyway we will see, I'm sure the SEC leaning committee funded by ESPN will screw FSU over

It was a rivalry game. Look at Bama and Auburn a week after Auburn lost to NMSU. Some of y’all act like parity only exists in the SEC and need to quit watching so much Finebaum.

The fact is this, if the twelve team playoff happened this year Bama would have played four of them, FSU a incredible amount of zero.

If you want to get FSU in because they are undefeated, have at it, but let’s drop this deserving and better crap.

Yeah ACC has a winning record vs SEC but still they're not as good. TBH i think the ACC gets raided within the next year. FSU and Clemson to SEC. UNC UVA maybe Duke/Georgia Tech, Notre Dame to Big 10.. Big 12 has been talking to NC State, VA Tech, Pitt and Louisville already according to Swaim.
 
The best 4 football teams are no doubt ,not in this order Georgia,Alabama,Texas. Those 3 beat any combination of head to head of the other teams out there
Then its a toss up for spot 4 between Wash,Mich,FSU with qb 2. FSU had qb1, they would beat Wash and Mich no doubt.
The conference thats over hyped is the big10. Michigan and OSU cruise all year till they play each other. That conf is always loaded with ranked teams who would get crop dusted by the speed down south. Just my opinion. Why at App State they are always looking for p5 scalps and love to play big tens first and foremost, cause of the lack of team speed.

Anyway, my opinion is FSU has earned the right. So has Wash,Michigan. 4th spot has to be Bama. You roll those 4 in there and Bama will be national champ. Look at UGA. Theyve lost one game in 3 years by a fg, gonna get left out. But they had their path and like OSU, wet the bed.

I think Ohio St and Michigan can play with anyone. You're right though, Georgia really blew it yesterday. If the SEC is left out that would really be something.

I agree it will get raided but Swaim is like the preacher in the 80s calling for the rapture. Never gets it right. The GOR is too big for the next few years.
 
If you're going to choose to go most deserving, you go...

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. FSU

Anything beyond there and you're opening a can of worms as if you want to try to go with the best teams, then you're making at least 1 fanbase upset, and possibly more.

Personally, I'll live if they shut the SEC out for one year.

Looking at the above, while I was saying I'd favor Michigan initially, I'd probably favor Texas now to come to think of it.

Lets look at their winning record vs the SEC this year. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but if you remove LSU, among the other SEC opponents the ACC faced; they have one win combined vs the current SEC top 25. Definitely top notch competition.

Honestly if Texas plays like they did the past two games they win the projected CFP(no Bama) in a cake walk.

Worst 2 teams of the 4 selected sit at 1 and 2. UGA at 6 would beat Michigan and Wash. So this we select the 4 best teams at the moment, FSU go disappear aurgument doesnt fly with me.

I agree. The only thing is while Texas should handle Washington, Washington has shown some of that magic in winning like Bama has shown. So that may be a really good game. The Mich/Bama game will probably be one of those 28-6 Bama wins that make you want to pull your eyes out.
 
I just started playing chess. I think thats what the CFP committee is doing.
