Georgia only has to worry about Ohio State this season. Not sure anyone can beat the Buckeyes.

Georgia will obviously be a solid favorite against Tennessee, but the Bulldogs shouldn’t pass the game off as a gimme. I’d “worry” at least a little bit. :)

The tradition at Georgia Tech is to March them to the presidents house and offer them to him/her. Then take them for cutting up when they politely refuse.

Unfortunately Morton is not the pitcher he used to be. He was great in his prime but those days look to be done. I'm hoping Soroka can make a comeback next year.
 
Georgia can beat Tennessee, but it's definitely a more worrisome game than last year (where my eyes were opened a little already when Hooker became the starter because of two back-to-back games).

- Defense is still nasty, but at times seemingly feels it took a step back from last year's (which is understandable) even though the point total allowed average is still similar. Tennessee lost but moved the ball pretty well vs one of the better college defenses we've seen last year.

- Georgia's had some slow starts on offense. Can't pull that crap while Tennessee is in their scripted offense or can easily be down 17-3 or something by the end of the 1st quarter.

Kirby has a lot of respect for Heupel because he apparently has had Georgia practicing against a simulation of Tennessee's offense every week.
 
Of the remaining teams in the MLB playoffs, here is how I would rank them based on how much I do NOT want to see them win it all.

1) Yankees - blah, the evil empire, obviously a very hated team among Braves fans, and they already have enough championships as is.
2) Phillies - they took out the Braves, plus a 3rd place team has no business lifting a trophy. Granted the Braves choked against them but still.
3) Astros - wouldn't object if the Astros won but ONLY because of Dusty Baker...would be nice to see him finally get a ring after all these years as a manager, plus he used to play for the Braves many years ago.
4) Guardians/Indians - haven't won in 74 years...their fans have waited forever...that stupid name change though, barf lol
5) Padres - have never won the World Series, would be cool to see a totally different team win it. I'll be rooting for them to pull it off.

I thought it was going to be a rematch with the Dogers and Braves. I honestly think the wildcards have an advantage. Maybe having to play hard right up to the end ensures they're running on all cylinders. It looked like the Braves lost something going into the last series with the Marlins. But who knows, that's baseball.

I brought this up as well to my coworker. Rest is good, but if you are hot and in rhythm, why would you want to not play and cool off.

Y’all have a better QB and WR core. We have better RBs, TE and defense. With that being said it’s going to come down to the 4thQ. Home field advantage will be key. Georgia and Alabama are very alike. So we need a clean game or we lose. Tennessee is damn good and as a Georgia boy I am nervous.

There's no way Tennessee beats both Georgia and Alabama in the same season. Right ? You're right that Bama and Georgia are alike. Georgia beat Vandy 55-0. Bama beat Vandy 55-3. Very similar lol.

It’s possible, Georgia hasn’t play great all year and have started slow and Tennessee starts fast. Georgia will have to play a mistake free game and stop #11. We stop #11 and we win. We don’t and we lose.
