My padres put a stomping on Mad Max and the Mets! That was absolutely shocking that the pads cranked 4 bombs off of him with Soto and manny getting 1 hit combined. Machado with the homer but that was in garbage time. Its going to be tough vs Degrom tonight in cool weather but hopefully the pads can end it tonight. Unfortunately even if they do win the dodgers will be waiting for them and they have absolutely owned the pads for the last year. Braves having pretty much the same amount of wins last season as the padres this season gives me a little hope though. If they don’t make it I’ll be pulling for the Braves to end the dodgers season agin!

We need the Padres to win today so they can at least rest one day before the big Dodger series. Man I am so glad the Braves (just) won the division. The Mets definitely got the bad end of the stick.
 
Hoping the Cards/Phillies series gets extended to a game 3 with some extra innings too for good measure. I don't really have a preference who the Braves have to play, but a tired opponent would be nice lol.

I think the Padres will advance. deGrom has struggled lately. Other than a lot of strikeouts, he's been very beatable over his last 4 starts...

Lol at going for 2 points when kicking the pat puts you down 7. Clown show of coaching.

Also, maybe McCaffrey running straight at the line on short yardage situations isn't the best move.

Another thing I've always noticed with poorly coached teams, they don't wrap up on tackles... I'd love to know how many missed tackles today. It's simple but apparently not ?

Mets not looking like the Mets of all year and Padres starting to look like what was expected after the trade deadline. SD might be the scarier team right now, dang it

For real. When the 49ers scored it sounded as if they were playing in San Francisco. Since I grew up as a 49ers fan I was telling my oldest son yesterday how I didn’t know the feeling of being a fan of a loosing team until I became a Panthers’ fan. As a 9er I was 5-0 in Super Bowls!

Yuck. Braves got smoked today, 9-1, and are down 2 games to 1 in their best of 5 against Philly. They'll need to need to win back-to-back elimination games to advance which they haven't done since the 1996 NLCS against St Louis. ?

Unless Morton brings his A game it's a wrap. He has been giving up way too many runs lately.

He's got the history in these situations...4 wins as a starter and 1 as a reliever; just hope he still has it. That and the offense needs to show up and give him run support.
