I was thinking that yesterday but now if by chance they beat Notre Dame in two weeks it won’t be as much of stunner since Marshall topped them.

I long for the day that my Dallas cowboys become more than mediocre ??. Lol I'm convinced we will have to get rid of dak to become better

I don't think Dak is the problem. Until Jerry Jones goes nothing will change. I heard that when I first moved to Dallas like 8 years ago
 
Little Lamar Jackson contract talk from a Ravens fan. It's appears they offered him a bit better money than Kyler and the Russell Wilson extension, I'm ok with that. Deshaun Watson basically ruined the quarterback market among other things. He will take up about 21% of the Browns cap for the next decade. I think the stat is no team has won the super bowl with a qb taking up more than 15% or so. Joe Flacco did the same thing, he bet on himself and won the super bowl. He got paid and then we just weren't as good because of roster holes for years. Personally I think we will tag him or trade him, possibly both next year. Fine with a trade because the hype on Lamar is probably greater than the onfield product.

I'm so proud of the Duke football team and new coach Mike Elko and staff with the turn around so quick in his first year. Its still real early but you can see the improvements all around. Loved Cut and respected what he did for Duke and will always appreciate and be thankful for what he did. He turned Duke football around and made them competitive again and then the wheels fell off and it was the non competitive Duke football of old again. Their needed to be a change after the last 3 seasons. I know it's just 3 games in but things seem to be different. Never thought I would be so fired up to see Duke vs Kansas in football next week. Go Blue Devils. Keep it up.
 
Duke and Kansas both undefeated. No one in the P5s has expierenced scorthed earth like the Jayhawks have over the past several decades. Albeit Duke runs a close 2cnd. Elko is a defensive mastermind, better than vennables imo throughout the college coaching landscape.

Wake was very fortunate yesterday.

The team is playing physical football and have been swarming the ball for sure. I’d like to see them cut down on penalties but if we can beat KU on the road, I think we’ve got a legit shot at going bowling.

You and me both. Cutcliffe didn’t leave the cupboard bare with his retirement. By all accounts, Lance Leipold of Kansas is a very good coach. There have been rumors of this possibly being a stepping stone for him to a big name P5 head coaching job. He doesn’t have nearly the skill players that Duke has on their roster. Last time KU was 3-0 was 2009.
