Wish Freddie the best outside of against the Braves.
Would've liked for him to have stayed, but based off my understanding, there seems to be a bidding war going on and it's best to at least have a good 1B instead of possibly being left holding the bag.
Only prospect I don't like giving up is Langeliers.

Braves sign Olson for 8 years. Alex is the best GM in the game! Loved Freeman but he wasn't worth the risk of 6 years at that money. Olson will put up monster numbers in that park, he is 5 years younger, a hometown kid and a gold glove. Gives AA money to sign who Braves need and to keep guys around

Last place I wanted to see him go but the Braves made the right move even if somewhat unpopular to some fans. They need to bring back Soler and I think we are the team to beat in the NL or at the very least Top 3

He was determined to get six years, the Braves offered 5 at 27m. Now he can play in his home town and his wife is happy. Braves came out better even if some fans are upset. It’s a business.

In my opinion, the Rosario signing took Soler off the table.
Which does pose an interesting question right now unless they're going to have Acuna DH (which I don't think is going to happen). Who DH's until he returns?
I suppose it could still be Ozuna and we could see a Dickerson/Duvall/Rosario outfield until Acuna is ready...

So, 57 million of Freeman's 6/162 guarantee from the Dodgers is deferred.
The Braves offer was 5/140, and the deferment means that these two offers were similar.
Seems like he got played by his agent (there's more that I saw today that suggests that).
