Brick,@Jessy89, and others, did you know that Jungle Boy is the late Luke Perry's
son?
Greatest tag teams in the history in wrestling.....among are The LOD (The Road Warriors), the Twin Towers, The Warlord/Barbarian, Earthquake & Tugboat, the Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette, the Hollywood Blondes, The New Breed (only because ring entrance song was You Gotta Fight for your Right by the Beastie Boys), Superfly Snuka & Ricky "the dragon" Steamboat, Harlem Heat, Demolition, the Skyscrapers. Honorable mention to Koko B. Ware and his bird.
Tell me yours
You are right. Rock N Roll Express with their double drop kick do deserve to be on the greatest tag team's list. Back when the NWA were in these parts, the RockNRoll Express helped make that organization popular, along with The 4 Horsemen, Nikita Koloff, and the Road Warriors.Great topic!
It is still early, but the Young Bucks are well on the way. Also, the Briscoe Brothers currently of ROH and the Lucha Bros currently of AEW are quite impressive.
Going back to my young days: Assassins, Minn. Wrecking Crew (Ole and Gene), Fabulous Freebirds (3 partners), and Mr. Wrestling I and II. Also, the Rock and Roll Express deserves a mention not only because hey were real good but also because the Young Bucks are modeled after them with their synchronized moves and even the tassels they used to wear on their shins.

Nothing against Goldberg as he was great during his heyday and to be fair AEW has as you know been doing the same with the also great Sting who is 8 years older, but WWE is trying to keep up with AEW's increased popularity. I've watched very little of WWE since AEW's Dynamite started in late 2019.
Edit: I admit that Sting appears to be in incredible shape for someone 62.
The problem with Goldberg (other than his downright pathetic cardio) is he's booked to show up twice a year (per his contract) and immediately demands and gets a title shot. Now in kayfabe, this seems ridiculous but this is Vince booking things after all. A real veteran should be using his status to put younger talent over, which I can't remember occurring outside of Braun beating him, but that was a consequence of Roman being out at the time. Let's never speak of the Fiend squash. I have heard zero word about AEW wanting Goldberg. I just can't see that happening ever. They already have the old WCW legend, who is still a better wrestler than Goldberg (Sting).
I'm fully in the AEW camp, and this is coming who had watched WWF/WWE/WCW since the mid-90s. The AEW talent is miles better than most WWE guys (outside of Seth, KO, Sami, AJ, and a couple others). AEW booking actually makes sense 90% of the time, and I'm OK with that. I do wish that JR would retire though. WWE is borderline unwatchable most of the time. I have turned into Raw and SD now that fans are back, but things still aren't looking so hot. See Charlotte giving the finger to the crowd for chanting 'We Want Becky' for the entirety of her title match. Even NXT seems to be struggling a bit. Regardless of how much love Triple H gives it, Vince still sees it as developmental, not a 3rd brand. See Karrion Kross, the current NXT champ getting beat by an old and is-barely-there Jeff Hardy in 5 minutes on Raw (love Jeff, booking made no sense though).
AEW pulling off Punk and Bryan would be such a major deal and I could see Dynamite pulling very close to Raw/SD in the ratings, especially once Monday Night Football returns. I'm ready to pop for a Punk debut at All Out and a Bryan debut at the NYC show in Sept. Also of note: the guy who broke the Punk/Bryan returns also says there's even a bigger surprise that's being kept a very guarded secret. I am not sure what is bigger than Punk and Bryan, maybe Brock? Once can always dream for a permanent move to AEW for Okada, Naito, or Ibushi.
Also have to mention that Tony Khan is making a major event announcement this coming Dynamite. I expect it to be a supershow with NJPW, and maybe Impact, NWA, or one of the Mexican promotions (CMLL/AAA).
TL;DR WWE booking is questionable at best and downright atrocious at worst. AEW looks to capitalize.
He put drew mIcyntire over at royal rumble. Was it a good match meh not really. But the show of respect by Goldberg at the end was awesome
I had forgotten about the Drew match. I really didn't watch any of the Thunderdome era.
That website you linked is a bunch of BS. They quoted Jim Cornette on the Goldberg/AEW rumors, which is quite possibly the worst source. Cornette is a known hater of AEW (and anything else that doesn't resemble 80's wrestling). No respected dirt sheet has reported on that to my knowledge. I consider WON and Sean Ross Sapp/Fightful the top end sheets, with guys like Keller (PWTorch) and Johnson (PWInsider) a tier 2 source.
I spend way too much time on the SquaredCircle subreddit.
