Those thinking it will be a landside in either direction are not understanding the split makeup of the American voter. It will be close and will likely go far into the night on Election Day. As for the Confederate Flag, I would not wear one, but it is the right of any American to wear one just like the communist shirts some Antifa rioters wear.

I think it will be similar to last election where the dem candidate doesn’t say they lost till the next morning. But trump will have surprise wins all evening.

Lol just about every Trump supporter I know personally, including myself, are following the coronavirus safety protocols and don’t think it’s a hoax.

No Wilkes is safe every election I’m assisting with driving others in counties that need to vote. No county west of Charlotte should ever go blue and rural mountain counties like Mitchell can easily be sent red with some help.

Yeah not sure folks on the right really understand how huge the Dem turnout is going to be....it may rival Obama 2008....Trump is losing voters I dont know a single person that did not vote for him in 2016 that plans to do so in 2020.....I however know a dozen people that did vote for him in 2016 who dont plan to do it again in 2020.

I honestly care more about getting Cooper out than trump winning. I would sacrifice losing trump if Cooper goes too. We need more focus on western/central NC than down East. The capitol needs to move to Asheville or Charlotte. I would be ok with splitting the state. Keep Greensboro west together. Tired of the coastal counties wasting money on roads that wash away every year.

I was down in Morehead city this weekend fishing and jumped into the flotilla Trump parade. Ive never seen anything like it. Hundreds of boats if not thousands. This is happening in other places. People cheering, excited, ready for another 4 years. What is Joe Biden supporters doing while his mind rots in his basement? Burning, looting cities RUN BY DEMOCRATS! Nothing positive just gloom and despair. This is what's going to beat Donald Trump? I don't think so. Hell Biden is losing voters by the dozens every weekend killed dead by other Biden voters.

I’m with you, NC 12 is destroying our outberbanks on top of the rampant development . One bad stretch of hurricanes like the mid to late 90s in NC or the mid to late 50s and it’s over for that area.

Cooper is a liberal and always has been . Shame, he is from Nashville NC which is a town I love. Know some folks who grew up with Cooper and went to Northern Nash and even then he was liberal they say.

I’ll also agree I’d rather Cooper go than Trump win again . Very NC centric view I know.

Those folks down by craven and chartered county are pretty hard red . Probably reddest area of state actually apart from a few piedmont counties.

Trump is losing dozens of would be boomer voters at hospitals from Covid-19 because we needed to save the economy over tens-hundreds of thousands of lives

A lot of the people I met and talked to were from all over the state. Some from Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, all up and down the east coast. The thing I take from it is positive energy. People are excited to be back out and enjoying life. I dont see anything from Democrats and Trump haters but pissing, moaning and negativity. This is all over the country
 
Lol at people saying turnout was going to be massive. I heard the same thing four years ago, in the most publicized election ever. Turnout was downout. Joe Biden doesn’t inspire anyone that he is a man fit for President, and you don’t get record turnout just by shear hate for the opposition.

Edited to say “adversary” instead of “enemy” as “enemy” is way too harsh when referring to the President. I actually didn’t mean he is literally the enemy even though I said it. Very poor word choice on my part. I apologize to anyone who may have been offended.

I’m bumping this post of mine. Please read the edit. I went too far in using the word “enemy” in referring to Trump. I’m sorry for using that word. I changed it to “adversary.”
 
This too will go away very quickly, just like governor “Blackface” of Virginia .....
