Unconcerned = Im prepared so I'm not going to panic

As far as stock market / economy goes. There will be stimulus coming. The country is going to recover when this is over so well see at what rate. Those folks in the "middle" politically change their minds every 2 or 3 days so gauging what they will do is a fools guess. The other option for these persuadables is Joe Biden. I feel very confident in how this one will turn out

This article is paywalled in case you didn't realize. I can only see the first little bit of it.

Why do you think Dem voters were twice as likely as GOP voters to be worried? The virus doesn't care about party. Why in the world would/should party matter? Might it be due to folks like Rush and Hannity, who I understand were downplaying this not too long ago? Have they come around yet?

I still don't think you understand the business cycle and fiscal policy and how the two work together. Stimulus is meant to cushion the blow so the economy doesn't completely crash. The economy will NOT come roaring back to what it was 6 months ago. It will continue declining as we enter a new recession. The Dow won't get near 29K again for several more years to come.
 
Nerman why dont you tell us why we should vote for Biden? What his plans,vision for America are? Instead of telling us why we shouldnt vote for Trump.
If a man has a used car and its dependable ,gets him from point A to point B, I doubt he will want to trade it in for a wooden cane with splits runing up and down it. I can get from point A to point B a whole lot easier,faster and enjoy what I plan on getting to point B for in the 1st place riding in that dependable used car as oppossed to walking, relying on that splintered old cane.
Trump is the dependable used car and Biden is the cane. I know what mode of transportation I and many folks will choose when they are head to head, side by side up there debating this fall. Are you as confident as you were 3 weeks ago? I don't think you'd be sincere if you didn't admit that Trumps chances are not as high as they were 2-3 weeks ago, when you were saying that folks don't care about his tweets and jackassnness, especially because of their very well performing 401Ks.

I heard from the previous president our jobs werent ever coming back. Guess what?.
Difference between a Globalist/socialist world view verse a Capitalist/America 1st point of view.

Here we go again. Claiming anyone not lock step with Trump on everything he does is hateful. That's way over the top! And by the way, Nerman has been giving Trump a chance to win him over. He almost did on Friday. Nerman was even praying for him.
 
Im as confident as ever we will bounce back and be as strong as ever after we get over this corono crisis. No doubt! Still many gut punches left to take and we got a rinse some blood out of our spit. Didnt do everything perfect. But we will be standing and not the one on the canvass

The business cycle has nothing to do with socialism. I advise you do some real research into the business cycle and how it is inevitable under capitalism.

It isn't Trump's fault. It's the business cycle and the economy running on full power that inevitably wears it down after a boom. The cycle is just running its course. What always happens is not many learn how the cycle works and how preparing for a recession right before it happens prevents depressions.

Yes I am confident. Its not just about the 401k man. People are employed. That means a lot. I dont dwell on negatives like a virus and market dip to make my political choices. Like i mentioned before those "undecideds" that everyone speaks of? They change their minds like the winds change. When we come out of this virus better than projected, along with a probable stimulus package, people will respond positively to the president's leadership.

It’s hard to prepare for a recession. They tend to sneak up on everyone. We have had signs for years that turned out to be nothing. It is a cycle and the informed people understand this and that’s why Trump will get his/ her vote. The Dems hope people can’t understand this. They pray on the weak and have for many many years.

Nothing to do with Trump whatsoever, an observation.

If you've paid an iota of attention to my posts I have consistently said the government and by default Trump as the leader has not done a good job in the early response and they're playing catch up.

Nancy Pelosi says she prays for Trump, she also says she's Catholic. That and a nickel will maybe get you a gumball.

Hate is hate, it consumes.

And some people continue to try to make everything personal, either about themselves or another poster. While I try my best not to.

What your saying is that everyone who disagrees with most of Obama's policies for 8 years were just hateful. See how silly that sounds?
 
To me this virus is very serious, but what the some of the media has been saying and the widespread morons on social media is just beyond absurd. Travel bans and closures are a good preventative measure for sure, but wtf are people raiding grocery stores for? Are we still talking about this:

If you want to know how serious to take this right now, when the House first introduced their Corona virus funding bill last week it included funding for abortion. I'll check back when this thing gets to 60 million in the United States alone like the Swine flu.

Dr Fauci said today, on many Sunday shows, that we should start to see the ability for those that want to be tested be able to over the next several days to weeks. When asked about previous statements from the administration stating there would be millions available by this point he sidestepped them stating the confirmed number of cases will go up dramatically as the testing increases.

Of course the number of cases will go up. The majority of those tested will experience a bad cold. If those testing positive isolate themselves as they should we will greatly minimize worst case scenarios. Its common sense stuff that can only be made complicated by ignorant people

Spin it however you want; pretty much used to it by now. Reading and comprehension are very easy and the words speak for themselves; it's my observation and we'll not agree on it so move on and find something else to "disagree" with.

Actually I am very positive. My job and life and family will all tell you that. I just prepare my kids to always see all possible outcomes. All good we can agree to disagree. I love life and enjoy life every day. If I die tonight I have lived a great life and have no complaints.
As for this virus. I do believe it will hurt Trump in the election. If it is not over soon. I voted for Trump also.

When this virus ends up on the lower end of mortality projections it will be Trump's leadership that got us there. The economy will come back around and he will defeat Joe Biden who wont be able to point to a crisis that the Trump administration is handling well

I hope you are right. I think a recession is happening question is how fast can it rebound. Will it be before the election. We shall see.
 
Watching biden being able to lie and lie and lie and sanders NOT being able to kick his ass is extremely frustrating and it will cost him the damn thing.

Yeah....those manufacturing jobs haven't come back. And won't. They won't even exist as jobs anymore in another decade or two.
 
Biden went to the left (toward Bernie) on some things, which I think is a mistake when looking ahead to the general. Example: no new fracking. However, Biden looked smooth and had only limited gaffes.

Biden will have to run to the left some, especially if he goes with a moderate VP pick.....the issue Biden has is what VP pick will help him the most and where does he think he needs the most help, if they think the Dems will unite behind him not matter what to beat Trump then they go moderate to try and pull folks like you and me, if they feel like the Bernie bros are going to ditch then they go someone like Warren....
