Sounds like you paid no attention to the press conference yesterday
I was at work and missed it but read up on it.
My analogy from yesterday still stands.
Sounds like you paid no attention to the press conference yesterday
You want another Great Depression??? Let's be honest here, he has to balance out everything. Sure the virus is the most "unknown" thing right now, but our Country's financial stability will be more important in the coming weeks to the 40%-60% Americans who will not be effected at all by the virus. What about in the next couple of months when this hysteria is dying down? The man has to keep one eye on the road ahead....bet you didn't think about that at all huh? If you were in his shoes just one day, especially now, I'll guarantee you that you would have a greater respect for the man.Less people are turning out for Bernie this year than in 2016. That's because they have a better option than Hillary. Those same 120k Democrats that held their noses for trump over Hillary won't have to hold their noses this go around to vote for biden. Dont be surprised if those people that hedged a bet on trump have soured on him and his narcissistic behavior.
Trump cared more about the stock market than the people because that's ALL he has to run on.
Why didnt he tweet "Millions of test kits delivered on monday" yesterday? Why is he more focused on the stock market than test kits?

I think you said you either were or still are in the military. If not, I apologize. But if you see that you have a clear enemy advancing on other countries, you don't wait for them to infiltrate your barracks before you mobilize the troops. If this were a battle with an actual invasion of forces, you would not be advocating the position you are currently advocating. You would be livid, and rightly so.Still had time to do what? What have we run out of time on?
I am retired military. A dozen combat deployments. I could type for 4 straight hours answering why what you posted above has absolutely nothing to do with war, battle, enemy and preparing for it and/or this virus and why you think I should be livid right now. Im just going to point out that things are in motion as you said. I believe we have been on top of it from the beginning and you obviously dont which is fine. Some here agree with you 100%, some agree with me. Doesnt matter at this point. Its time for everybody to stop dwelling on what you think should have happened weeks ago and focus on today and tomorrow as a unit. Eyes forward......thats straight up rules of battle right there. The thing is, this is very much analogous to a battle or war. The virus is the enemy. We had plenty of time to watch and plan and mobilize the troops and shore up the infrastructure and get ready for battle. Instead, we slow-played and downplayed the risk, while the enemy invasion began, sweeping stealthily among us. That was the time we lost. Now, the virus is here. That is the time we are out of. And now everyone is panicking and many are acting foolishly because they have not been adequately prepared for this.
And yes, I am tremendously glad for the press conference YESTERDAY. it needed to happen weeks ago, not hours. But at least things are finally in motion. So, that is good.
I appreciate the conversation. And I don't need everybody or anybody to agree with me. I do appreciate your perspective on things and that we live in a place where we have the freedom to express our opinions and disagreements. We may not agree on some things here, but I am with you that it looks like we're doing better now. And for that, I am thankful. And I'm thankful for people like you willing to put your life on the line for our freedom.I am retired military. A dozen combat deployments. It was atrocious. Nearly the first words out of his mouth were some BS about how the United States is handling this great and better than any other country. What a complete joke of a man, a President, and an administration.Sounds like you paid no attention to the press conference yesterday

Sorry you were disappointed. Take a xanax.....you will be fineIt was atrocious. Nearly the first words out of his mouth were some BS about how the United States is handling this great and better than any other country. What a complete joke of a man, a President, and an administration.
Now where have we heard that before.....lol. Im sure its for real this time ;-)This will no doubt, be the end of Trump's Presidency. I just don't see how he and his administration will be able to recover from this.

Are you knew to this? Seriously? He's not out there to win an academy award for speech of the year. Did you get good information from his group of specialist answering questions or did they do a good job of pissing you off too?Come on now, I have friends who are Trump supporters and thought his speech was downright dreadful. He sounded like a senile man blabbering on and on and going in complete circles. Even the way he treated the press was, IMO revolting.

These testing breakdowns? They have ALWAYS been a red tape issue in this country with outbreaks so yeah it sure as hell is Obamas fault along with Bush and Clinton among others. Yet again, he put travel restrictions on China WEEKS AGO! Is that not proactive or am I missing something? You aren't suffering. Italy is suffering. My God get some perspective beyond your programmed hatredNo, I am not new to this crap. When you are addressing the Nation, it would be nice to have some empathy and professionalism. He's the leader of the free world, for crying out loud. He constantly plays the blame game and yesterday was not the time or place for it. He had the audacity to blame the Obama administration. Trump had weeks to address this and he decided to wait until things were finally getting out of hand. And yes, I am pissed. Because of his incompetence and lack of responsibility, we are suffering more than we would have been if he was proactive from the beginning. His specialists were fine, they actually gave out some decent information. But like I said, it's too little too late.

Well ill tell you like I told someone else today. You got what you got now. Actively participate in keeping yourself and your loved ones safe going forward. Bitching and complaining is really a complete waste of time but some of you are turning it into an art form. Im not used to watching grown human beings freak out like what I am witnessing here. Its a real eye openerNo disrespect to you, but yes, you are missing something. It's called the larger picture. Look at how Singapore and Hong Kong are handling this. From the very beginning, they were putting restrictions on pretty much anything and it shows. There are hardly any cases or deaths there. When this first started Trump was blaming the Dems and the media for the outbreak. If you can't grasp how irresponsible and dangerous that is, I really don't have anything more I can say to you. But yes, what is happening in Italy is very sad and startling. I hope that they can recover from this soon. But no, I don't have programmed hatred. The POTUS does.
Recover from what??? A virus outbreak that China caused which has swept the world??? Yep, this is all his fault..... Going to cost him the election...... I literally burst out laughing when I read your post. This will no doubt, be the end of Trump's Presidency. I just don't see how he and his administration will be able to recover from this.
Compare how the media covered H1N1 at this same stage versus how their covering coronavirus. That's a big part in why people are freaking out. How media coverage causes people to act and react is the eye opener to me.Well ill tell you like I told someone else today. You got what you got now. I was in Afghanistan when that hit. Actually got it over there. Ive only been back in civilian life 2 1/2 years and after seeing the way some people act, this virus isnt the most pressing issue in my opinionCompare how the media covered H1N1 at this same stage versus how their covering coronavirus. Correct. 60 million got the swine flu 10 yrs ago. I don't even remember them talking about figures like that back then. Everything was downplayed.Compare how the media covered H1N1 at this same stage versus how their covering coronavirus. That's a big part in why people are freaking out. Didn't our corrupt impeached incompetent President claim this was a hoax just a few weeks ago? And people are still going to vote for him? ??I mean, I can't even with these people
Trump wins again!
I was comparing the media coverage between the two, not the H1N1 vs coronavirus regarding symptoms, risk ..... Thought it was obvious. There was lots of media coverage about swine flu....the reason this is being treated differently is that this is much worse than the swine flu....folks got to quit with the flu comparisons because its apple and oranges.

Why would I need a Xanax?Sorry you were disappointed. Take a xanax.....you will be fine
Early travel ban on China.....Well, Fridays press conference was full of exaggeration, misinformation and downright lies. Can't believe I let myself but into it in the moment. I think I'm just looking for hope so badly for this administration to do something right in its response to coronavirus. Don't say the early travel ban on China cause I'll punch you thru the internet. We know! See more below about the shitshow (I mean presser) if you want to. If not, keep your head in the sand. It's your head, this is America, do what you want with it.
The debate tonight will be telling. Every American should watch it.
