The Democrat party is a train wreck. They can't do even a simple task at a caucus. Do people actually think these clowns can beat Donald Trump and run the Unites States of America? It's mind boggling
Watching the Iowa caucus last night was like watching a clown show and do the American people really want these clown running our country and healthcare??????.. that would be a hell no!!!

The Iowa caucus has been absolute train wreck and embarrassment for the Democrats. For the party that has been screaming Russian collusion, hacked election results, 2016 DNC corruption, and impeachment, I just don't know what more can go wrong for these ass clowns.

Just a reminder for everyone, Facebook campaigns are not election interference or hacking. I guess the media figures they can say the same thing over and over and people will just believe it. I remember the end of the Georgia and Texas A&M game on CBS a couple of months back and Brad Nessler was promoting the next 60 Minutes and he straight up said "the Russians hacked our elections."

All of this just seems to give Bernie a real disadvantage whether its corruption or incompetence.

What struck me is the Democrats have been so worried about hacking and yet they use an app which is so easy to hack????(not that this is a hack but still) you would think they would have a more secure system. It doesn't make sense

Though I am sure the White House is dying laughing over it

Counting election results--there's an App for that! Or not...

I wouldn't put sanders in the same crowd as a lot of democrats and DNC. They hate him for obvious reasons but they're too in denial to realize he's their best shot. Also, unless the DNC pulls some shenanigans, he will most likely be announced as the winner of iowa later today (pete prematurely announcing he won is despicable btw), and with sanders currently leading NH, it should be noted that whoever has won both states has ALWAYS been the democratic nominee.

Couple this with Biden's collapse...

So the question becomes: Is Bernie too left to win the election? I find it hard to believe that there are enough voters willing to vote for him and socialism

Good luck to dems trying to win back Obama-Trump voters in the Midwest with a socialist candidate.

It's certainly a fair concern to speculate on how viable it'll be to convince people to embrace democratic socialism. But the swing states that Clinton lost in 2016 that were in the midwest, notably michigan/wisconsin, was due to a lot of the bernie supporters either abstained or voted trump. Don't underestimate Bernie's pull with the working class in those areas.

It’s really a catch 22 in the Democrat party now, right? Do you go with Bernie and the enthusiasm with the college age voters but not very appealing to Clinton democrats. Or do you go with Biden who rallies the moderates but the college age/18-29s stay at home due to lack of enthusiasm? Tough.

Looks like Trump's approval rating is at a new high per Gallup.

"President Donald Trump's job approval rating has risen to 49%, his highest in Gallup polling since he took office in 2017. Trump's approval rating has risen because of higher ratings among both Republicans and independents. His 94% approval rating among Republicans is up six percentage points from early January and is three points higher than his previous best among his fellow partisans. The 42% approval rating among independents is up five points, and ties three other polls as his best among that group. Democratic approval is 7%, down slightly from 10%

The Jan. 16-29 poll was conducted in the midst of the Senate impeachment trial that will likely result in the president's acquittal. The poll finds 52% of Americans in favor of acquitting Trump and 46% in favor of convicting and removing him from office.

Sixty-three percent of Americans now approve of the way Trump is handling the economy, up six points from the prior reading in November. It is the highest economic approval rating not only for Trump, but for any president since George W. Bush enjoyed stratospheric job approval ratings in the first few months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. " Source

If it were me, I'd go with enthusiasm around bernie, especially with the turnout in iowa being much lower than expected. That was a big reason why they lost in 2016. I also can't remember the last time the more moderate democratic nominee won. Also, I'm seeing reports that though sanders may have won more of the popular vote, pete may win more state delegates...which means pete could actually win. bizarre.

IA Caucuses: 2 man race now. Fairly moderate Mayor Pete very strong today at this betting site vs socialist Bernie, who has fallen sharply. Still too close to call. Biden doing poorly as much more of moderate vote goes to Pete. Pete's biggest problem may be a lack of black voters' support:

Andrew Johnson was charged with articles of impeachment; as was Bill Clinton; neither was "convicted" ... much as a person charged by the State Attorney who is later found "not guilty" by the jury ... the charge cannot be undone, but neither can the "acquittal"... Would anyone want it otherwise ... that is - the charge sticks for life but the decision does not?
..and does the same "badge" apply to Clinton as some seem to want to stick to Trump?
These are not comments on anything other than basic American justice, which I have given my life to, and do not wish to see polluted by politics from either side ...

What we have here is a system where senators are the jury and judge. In this case many as jurors have said the house proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt but that as judges they just aren't going to do anything about it.

Then go vote out the jurors and judges ... if that is your wish ... such is the system and the opportunity you were given ... if not suitable then, 1) work to change the Constitution (also a very valuable right you have), or 2) move to someplace that has a jurisprudential/political system you like ...

This x 1,000.....

History will show that Donald J. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives, just like William Jefferson Clinton and Andrew Johnson. All three will be noted as such. Richard M. Nixon would be on the list as well if he did not resign from office as he did.

Edit: Regardless of my feelings on the matter, it went as was outlined in the United States Constitution. All I asked was that the rules were followed. It seems as if they were. I have nothing else to say on the matter. Donald J. Trump is still our duly elected President. I took an oath to defend this country and to obey my Commander in Chief when I enlisted. I took that oath very seriously. I still believe it is my duty to honor that oath even though I no longer serve. I may not like the man in office, but I respect the office and the title it bestows. No politics will make me change that.

The oath is for life. I didn't like Obama but would have taken a bullet for the CIC. For god, country and family....Hooyah!

Nancy Pelosi would tick me off with her utter disrespect if it wasnt for her clueless looking facial expressions bringing me to tears with laughter.

I’m no Pelosi fan as she’s had her moments and she, indeed, is making funny gestures. But why would you expect her to respect him after he just embarrassed her by refusing to shake her hand? She’s pissed off.
Ronald Reagan would have never done anything like that. Trump is such a jackass.

Why would he shake her hand, she's only vowed to impeach and remove him from office from day one.

Please provide evidence that Pelosi vowed to impeach Trump from day one:

Haha ok just her House members, not all, but many started immediately. If you want to believe she didn't want him out that's fine, she guaranteed he wouldn't be president, in her words "take it to the bank". She wants him removed tomorrow, I wouldn't shake her hand either.

Ripping up his speech and breaking decorum with her expressions weren’t appropriate either. Trump should have shook her hand but she shouldn’t have responded the way she did when he didn’t.

The "tolerant" left.....On full display at all times. Their facial expressions look like melted cheese from a Dali painting

Nancy just ripped up the physical speech, on air, after the SOTU in her petulant childlike way! Incredibly DUMB!

you have to be pretty vile to barely stand and applaud the serviceman returning to his wife. And all the others that were honored. Party allegiance aside.

I’ve seen more mature and respectful 3-4year olds in the kids choir at church.

Pelosi asked why she ripped up the speech, “It was the courteous thing to do, considering the alternatives.”

Even the CBS News people were shocked on the live stream when it happened.

SOTU: Game Set Match: Checkmate!
The Contrast is never been plainer to see. I am 100% behind the candidate who has delivered and still forward thinking on Making America Greater than ever before. Captilisim,Democracy and Constitution has never looked stronger compared to the Socialist, leftist ,progressive alternative. We werent just told how great our country is, we where showed with pure facts. KMAG!
