The trespassers broke in to a private residence (gated communities are private property beyond the gate). They are already a threat to the residents when they decided to do that. Now I think the rifle would have been sufficient to deter them, but nothing the homeowners are doing is illegal in Missouri due to the castle doctrine. If the trespassers started moving toward the residents, firing upon them would be justified.

Not illegal but about as dumb as it gets from a self defense stand point. That woman has no real training as the way she is holding the gun is horrible. Not to mention she removed herself from a defensible position inside to being open and vulnerable outside.

I would be willing to bet the magazine in that handgun was empty....LOL. Not really sure why she was out there to begin with. She certainly has no training whatoever

They could have swarmed her and disarmed her with that weakass grip in 2 seconds. The people in that community need to be just as afraid of those gun owners than they were of those people walking down the streets.
 
You both miss the point. He was willing to let those two men go to prison for something he ordered them to do. That is not FAIR (and also against the law) as you stated. He ended up being arrested and that was the right call. Not a leader of men by any stretch of the imagination.

I understand and agree with the hard a$$ part but he has to have honor so the men know he will have their backs. An issue both our fearless leader and Nathan Jessup have no concept of. You picked an incredibly poor example but quite appropriate for my point , Thank You.

She had zero muzzle discipline. One time she had the gun at the back of his head with her booger hook on the bang switch.

I would agree that training is badly needed here. I wonder what happened after this incident? Did the trespassers leave peacefully? The trespassers thought they were in a public area and may also have been armed. Could have started a shoot out.

The guy with the rifle would of had to be taken out first. He likely would have shot many of them before they got to her.

Mmmmm......I think YOU missed the point. Perhaps I misjudged who would understand what I was talking about and who would overthink it with it being a character who doesn't exist. No biggie....
 
Hard to belive the voices for Anarchy and Socialisim by several on here. The complete throwing away of American Heritage,Tradition,Values. All for this pie in the sky Green new deal and a country without any law and order. Thats exactly what your endorsing supporting a Democrat. Do you guys think for a second that Biden,Pelosia and Schummer have your back? Guess folks think if we destroy capitalism, that companies, business are just gonna continue to operate so they can forward all their profits to the Democrats and let them re distribute to everyone. Same for the American worker,Middle Class. Im not gonna work 60 hrs a week so I can pay more taxes than I already do. Taxes that fund npr, planned parenthood to name a few. Aint gonna work folks. Need to wake up and not turn more power over to this Anti America Machine (DNC and MSM).

This forum would probably have a significant amount more members if it wasn't so one sided. The bitching and moaning about Democrats ruining the world and being the cause of all problems is sad. I know there is plenty of Trump hate here and around the country but hating one man isn't the same as hating half the country.

Nobody here HATES Democrats that I am aware of. Personally I dont understand why poor people, especially minorities support them almost blindly but you get the government you vote for. Looking around the country since LBJ I cant for the life if me decipher why these demographics STILL to this day allow them to continue to destroy their communities. At the very least I can point outhow much better off I am under Trump

I don't see the Left in the streets presenting a whole lot of rational arguments. More like throwing, burning, and beating.

It would not surprise me if there was a few more centrists or left of center's on here, maybe right too like Larry (maybe even one or two that are further, I know 1 guy announced himself as being so and he is usually radio silent in here due to obvious reasons) but it's not worth it for any of them to post more because they'd clearly get thoroughly railroaded, or if they were to fight and respond, like my dad has done when he's argued politics before, they'd be risking getting banned from the thread, and maybe the entire site too which is not worth it because it's not a politics forum.

If we had more normal circumstances, I'd most likely be included in what I described above as well outside of the Bernie Sanders talk that we saw a few months ago (usually am anyhow). I suppose I'm likely a minority given demographics with younger people liking him the most but I was and still am a no to some of the things that he would have tried to implement (No to Medicare 4 All, he apparently would've affected the stock market in a significant way which I would've had an issue with, and making college free or much lower cost doesn't make sense...).

I guess most of this group thinks that the progressive left would still try to implement some of those policies, with Biden being a puppet if he were to win...
