It's funny but if memory serves me correctly I don't think any Dems denounced their support of Bill Clinton after he had an affair in the Oval Office and then lied about it. You know he was impeached for lying under oath, continued as POTUS as is still revered by so many democrats, why?

People are disgusted by Trump. And that's fine. He really doesn't have a lot of character. What makes me laugh, though, is that Trump is just out in the open with all of it. He doesn't care what he says or what people think. All these other imbeciles pretend like they like everyone and show their lack of character behind the scenes. And occasionally we see it leak out into the public domain. The biggest difference (regarding character) between Trump and everyone else is that he doesn't give a crap, while the rest of them just pretend to.

"People are disgusted by Trump" Yeah, in some circles that's true. When a socialist/globalist is confronted with a capitalist president I can understand their angst, just as I and many other were disgusted when Obama said to a small business owner "You didn't build that, government built that".

I personally don't care about matters like that, its their worldview and how they are going to legislate that garners my interest. Trump said during his inaugural speech his desires were to build a wall, have new trade agreements, get jobless rate down, clean the swamp, support our allies in the middle east (Israel), among other things. He also said the Deep State would come after him, manufacture lies, and man, did they ever. When it comes to the socialists, their reaction is what I expected it would be, a bunch of spies, liars, and fake news manufacturers. Hopefully no one expected them to sit back and take the 2016 loss. Remember how they came after him in the Russia probe hoax. Mueller couldn't even recount what was in his own supposed document. Then next, lets go after his judicial nominees. The people that she was surrounded by didn't even believer her and said she recounted things that didn't take place. Still, they pursued. The Washington Post and CNN just said over the weekend that the "whistleblower" is getting protection bc they fear for their life. The "supposed whistleblower's" attorney came out and said that report was wrong. They go ahead and publish it anyway. Trump was up against a machine with the MSM, and he knew it and alluded to it in his inaugural speech. Really to me, there is nothing to see here.

Jeff Flakes a republican on paper only so no surprises really.

Also where are all the strong words against Joe Biden for actually admitting on video that he told the Ukrainian Pres to fire the prosecutor or we will withhold the money. "Son of a b.... he was fired". How come Hillary and Obama were never held accountable for lying about Benghazi or Hillary destroying evidence (30k plus emails)? I don't know the double standards just annoy me to no end...

There were plenty of things that Obama and Hillary and biden could be investigated for. I hated most everything they did while in office. My disgust of crappy crooked and unethical leaders just didnt stop when trump came into office.

Its funny how people are downplaying Hilary Clinton deleting thousands of emails when subpoenaed for them in comparison to the Trump controversy.

I'm not sure people are downplaying it. In fact hundreds more emails have been deemed classified and theres action in that right now. Theres just bigger stories out there.

Now heres the rub. If you were pissed about that then you better be mad that trump is storing his phone call transcripts on secret servers. If you arent then you dont have leg to stand on when complaining about hillary.

The POTUS, leader of the free world, storing phone call transcripts with other foreign leaders on a secret server in a world of leaking deep state fanatics. Wow what a novel idea. Why aren't more people mad that the pres phone calls with foreign leaders are being leaked?! I'd love to have transcripts of some of Biden's phone calls with the former Ukraine pres or better yet Obama's with the Iranian Mullahs or Putin or other leaders but you know what we don't and frankly we shouldn't. Obama was the POTUS and had the right to have phone conversations with foreign leaders without them being leaked and threatening national security. But Trump doesn't get the same treatment and why? Because most are still bitter that Hillary lost or they just hate the man so much they're willing to risk war to have him removed. The guy is arrogant, he's a narcissist, he tweets, he says stupid stuff but those aren't impeachable offenses. Impeachment should be reserved for actual offenses that are criminal and threaten the office of the presidency not as political game and gain. We are playing with fire and while we self implode over political nonsense the world watches and our enemies lie in wait like a predator ready to pounce of injured prey.

It's sad, sickening and infuriating all at the same time.... whatever happened to freedom and common sense?!

As crazy and outlandish as DT seems at times, it’s comforting knowing he’s at the helm. The more I hear the MSM rubbing his name in the dirt, the more confident I am that he is doing his job. There’s a reason they hate it. Their interests are not our interests. They’re terrified of him and in this case “fear” is the greatest form of flattery. I will not apologize for voting for this man. Not ever

I've had so many people wonder why I don't join them in their hatred of Trump and honestly I don't even bother anymore(these same people have never accepted he won, and sit there everyday talking about how the latest scandal is "finally" the end of Trump and frankly I don't care anymore)... but I also have no regrets. We knew he wasn't gonna be a normal President in the campaign(I mean hell stuff he said was "shocking news" everyday even back then) but that's why he got so many votes, because he was brutally honest

Honest he is not!

"Fear" is not the greatest form of flattery, and should never be a factor in supporting or not supporting the President. It should only be used against our enemies.

Fear is what Reagan used against the Soviets to end the Cold War.

Fear is what George HW Bush used to help win Gulf War 1. (God bless'em) Too bad he got voted out just because of a bad cycle w/ the economy. (which is why the economy shouldn't be the #1 factor for re-electing, hint, HINT)

Fear is what Bush W used to fight terrorism after 9/11. He used it to mixed results, but at least he had good intentions.

Fear should NEVER be used against citizens of your own country, nor against the opposition party. And it should never, ever be used against your OWN political party to intimidate Republicans, who fear getting primaried if they don't fall into line.

Some people fear him for political reasons. But some of us fear him because he inspires a cultlike devotion among some of his followers that support him no matter what he does. And that just gives him more incentive to do whatever he wants...

Cultlike devotion? Lol. He connects with his constituents. I call followers of the DNC and mainstream media as having a cultlike fanbase. Obama surely did.

As I live and breath, I wish that anyone could offer a criticism of our current President without a rebuttal mentioning Obama or Hillary.

Back in the day, people used to criticize George W. And his defenders were able to offer rational, clear, concise explanations that didn't involve conspiracy theories or Al Gore or Tricky Bill Clinton. I remember, because I was one of them. That was back when I leaned GOP. A lot of us moderates did back then, and we don't anymore. A lot of the "base" would call us traitors, and just being influenced by the 'mainstream media'. But perhaps we should be looked instead as canaries in the coal mines.

Are the President's actions serious enough to warrant his removal from office? That's the 6 million dollar question. And if you don't believe it's serious enough, then what would? We should all be able to answer any of those questions regardless of political affiliation, or which direction the mainstream media leans towards.

If the answer is that you would support the President no matter what he's done (especially because of reasons involving the rival political party and what they have done, and SHOULD have been punished for) than it MIGHT indicate evidence of a cultlike devotion, or at the very least a very heavy bias. Here's hoping I'm wrong though. The way this thing is going, we're all about to find out how devoted some of the base really is.

Obama and Clinton aside, and trying to be objective as I can, I haven't seen any evidence of anything that would support impeachment out of office, fitting the category of high crimes and misdemeanors. On the other hand, what I have seen is an unending campaign by democrats and the media to attack him, thwart him, and go out of their way to spin everything he says or does in the very worst light possible. I have seen over and over "scandal after scandal" that was supposed to be the one -- the smoking gun of treason or criminal activity -- turn out to be grossly exaggerated spin, just plain wrong, or outright lies. I'm not excusing his demeanor, language, policies, etc. that people take issue with. But he has been wildly attacked at every turn, and so far, there has not been one hard shred of evidence of anything that would warrant removal from office, IMO. Maybe that will turn up tomorrow. If it does, then I'll support the evidence. But I know the intent of both sides and I know the corruption that exists and I know the tactics of Washington. And I know pretty well to take most of what most of them say with a huge grain of salt.

Its perfectly reasonable to inject another president since you injected one without the other. If you think Trump has a cultlike following without giving any mention of the previous then that clearly states where you stand with him. This is a silly notion to begin with. The president's actions.....hmm.....increasing job participation labor, quarterly rises in GDP, wage increases, constitutional judicial appointees. Again, like PCBJR said, impeachment is not for political indifferences. We had 12 percent unemployment under Obama, I never called for impeachment. Then again, I'm not a radical who hates, would rather debate things in the arena of ideas than remove someone I don't agree with.

So Schiff received early account of whistleblower report and now it's coming out that the Ukraine ex-prosecutor was told to back off investigation into natural gas firm linked to Hunter Biden. Specifically.....
“Mr. Shokin attempted to continue the investigations but on or around June or July of 2015, the U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt told him that the investigation has to be handled with white gloves, which according to Mr. Shokin, that implied do nothing,” the notes from the interview stated.

So yeah impeachable offenses occurred just not by this administration.
