@Matthew70 is almost entirely to blame for a majority of the garbage spam & poorly thought-out one liners promulgating debunked nonsensical bs. Thank goodness we don't have to see any of that ? in the COVID-19 thread.

I agree. You have to wash the masks. I have washed mine but dont wear it anymore. If we are going to push businesses to open, people need to know and feel comfortable to wear their mask even if not clean. My dad has cancer and he told me he's wearing his every day. I would expect no less.

@Webber you and @crecre9 you two must be some miserable human beings in life to be around. All you can do is spew hate and names that people never giving valid arguments. The reason you call it -------- is because it doesn’t fit your point of views. That’s the typical liberal for you it’s always their way of thinking no one else has the right to express themselves. No the ones that have a different opinion are banned on this forum. It’s turning in just like the media is. Liberal thinking and they remove anyone that has a different opinion than them. I have not called anyone any names and listen to what everyone says but look at the names I’ve been called. Some of the things I post here are to bring a laugh but apparently you can find nothing to laugh about. I’m having a blast in life and laughing at all this craziness that is going on around me. It does not matter which side you’re on we are all going to pay dearly for this. The economic collapse that will happen in the next 3 to 5 years will be something we wish we never had to have seen or go thru. Just wait till the PPP runs out June 4. Unemployment is going to skyrocket even more. How do I know because I have many companies that I take care of that have notified me and I also have a brother in state finance. Yes you wanted everything locked down. I hope you’re ready for the economic hardship that is coming.

Could you imagine the amount of recovery the earth could make by doing periodic shutdowns. Might even be able to get the polar ice back to normal levels and maybe have some real winters again.

I say we start a petition that we do a 6 week full stop lockdown from st patty's day to May 1st.

So because Trump does it, that makes it ok? The left can’t rise above this type of behavior? You know, Trumps not that far right on the political spectrum. He’s also a narcissist. But at the time of the election, he was the only realistic choice to slow the steady destruction of liberty in this country. That doesn’t give him excuse to be rude, though.

First off and most importantly I am not on the left, not even remotely, I know its hard for you to understand that there are actually people who apply the same standards to both sides even the side they typically support.....You are fine with voting and supporting Trump regardless of his actions.....there is no way you wont vote for him no matter what Trump does.

On policy I am much pretty far from Biden on most everything, and agree with some of what Trump wants though he goes about it all wrong....Trump treats everything like a nail and he is a hammer....but ultimately Trump is a bigger threat to this country than Biden would be simply because Trump is effectively destroying the separate but equal concept of the 3 branches and trying to turn the presidency into a dictatorship like position with no oversight and nothing but yes men and lapdogs in all the major cabinet positions effectively making him the end all be all power of the USA.....Trump is a bigger threat to the US way of government and Constitution than any president before him.....

Yes the administration sets policy based on rules and laws. Diplomatic policy doesnt get to violate those.

So as I said a diplomatic policy seeking the removal of a prosecutor not prosecuting when that's backed by a bipartisan senate caucus is not in violation of any laws.

Seeking foreign help to aid you in an election is against the law which the FEC clearly pointed out. Withholding the aid was also against the law and was widely frowned upon by the OMB because the money was already released.

The 2 scenarios are like trying to compare apples to bowling balls.

Lmao. Trump is a bigger threat. Ok that’s your opinion. You think Biden is not a threat. We have yet to see his VP pick which will for sure be a radical liberal. Biden will be only a stepping stone for her. Biden is a serious threat and a disgrace to America. Trump was behind it. Yet now we know that is was the liberals that were behind it. They were wanting to spy. They committed treason. They devalued the office. As things stand right now, I don't see how Trump can turn the presidency into a dictatorship type of governance with the Democrats holding the house and having a strong position in the senate. Also, Trump is not widely liked among Republicans, either. These two groups will act to mitigate Trumps desires to seek tyrannical rule, even if that desire exists. I'm not sure it does, though. Trump likes to win but I think he still likes to win a contest worth winning. A narcissist, yes, and egomaniac, but not maniacal. There are too many people on both sides of the aisle that are standing in his way. He can ruin the Presidency, like so many before him, but there is only so much he can do without congress. The damage would be contained. Besides, placing conservative judges in the courts is worth putting up with some shenanigans, at this point. Things may certainly change, because the left is unhinged and heartless and they have the Media weapon; who knows what to believe from the press.

I can't see any likely scenario that would lead me to vote for Biden. I'm not sure how you can even consider that guy, either. I would think you would write in someone. By the way, I didn't vote for Trump in the last election.

Never a huge fan of name calling. We are adults and I teach my son not to call names. Politics have become a very polarizing topic and yes much to your annoyance its trumps fault.

Theres people I've been friends with for decades that i use to talk politics with that I dont anymore.

Nobody in this nation is my enemy or yours. They are your neighbors, co-workers future friends if you get a chance to meet up.

I use to get deep in the mud on another forum. Throw insults and just bash and fight. Once I had my son my entire outlook changed. I refuse to raise him with hate around. He will not hate someone because of their views or lifestyles or religion.

Some can be incredibly intelligent but sorely lacking in wisdom and compassion. When this happens, it's such a tragedy to see the intelligence wasted.

Well where did I say Biden was not a threat? I just see it as a different kind of threat, and I have no intentions of voting for Biden at this point....I also wont vote for Trump.

I know this is tough for you to accept but Trump Jr agreed to meet with Russian government officials who he thought was going to provide him with documents to hurt Hillary, and for all we know they did....now in what world is that not collusion? Trump Jr was there to accept documents from one of our biggest enemies to help his father become president of the USA. This is just one of many such examples, half of Trumps inner circle at the time went to jail for lying to the FBI about ties and contacts with the Russians lol....but your right it was all lies from Obama...

That little rant at the end is exactly why the GOP is a dying.....its also a excellent example of why the current mentality of the two main parties is actually allowing people like Trump and Bernie to gain ground and actually further the damage to the country. You are part of the problem not part of the solution.

That boggles my mind. My buds sister and her boyfriend have been out of work and are absolutely loving the benefits . Literally neither has made any effort to find another job. Then my other bud had a coworker of his ask to be fired to be added to unemployment benefits.

Ultimately I have faith that most of these people will return to work. Most people feel wrong just sitting about doing nothing , on top of the social stigma against it.

Last time I checked this was a political forum, not a soap opera.

There are other, better places on this site to whine about individual bloggers instead of clogging this thread w/ your personal soap boxes.
