Homeowners given $20G bill to clean up former California homeless camp

Homeowners in a California subdivision have reportedly been charged $20,000 to clean up a former homeless camp near their neighborhood, with residents arguing the decision was delayed and shouldn't just be their responsibility, according to reports.

A strange thing happened yesterday with the passing of Kobe Bryant. Almost every person in this country over 10 knew of this man and all may not have been a fan but most were. For a brief moment the impeachment wasn't the story and either was politics. It's not often when the entire nation is not focused on bickering but on grief and it's a uplifting and sad at the same time. I know some will say sports aren't important but how many things can a hard right or left person find as much common ground as sharing the same favorite team or player? RIP Kobe Bean Bryant
 
A couple of things ate at me about Koby's death yesterday. Everytime i got in a helo during service i got a pit in my stomach. Ive had bullets whiz by my head, IED'S explode in front of me. When a team member of mine, Michael Mansoor jumped on a grenade that killed him, I would have been one of the guys he saved had i not been moved that morning to a different element. All I could think about yesterday is what those fathers and mothers with their kids were thinking about knowing they were about to lose their life. Same with Michael. It gives you a new perspective on life and whats important

For once I agree with you. RIP to all the OTHERS that died as well and blessings to all on here. These are the things I think about that is so odd and worrisome. No matter how people disagree politically, things can change in an instant. No matter color, race or origins, we then become the caring, helping people that we are. In disaster and fear nothing matters but to survive and care for our brothers. I don't particularly care for puffed up sports people and the money and games that surround them, but I saw how sad it made people on here and how it hurt their hearts. A kick in the gut for them that felt like he was a part of their lives. So it was more than just somebody dying that they didn't know. Made me sad.
 
Some GOP senators are apparently questioning why the WH did not share the information they had about what Bolton was going to say with them, they feel blind sided and put in a bind.....numerous GOP senators have canceled TV interviews etc today to prevent having to answer those Bolton questions....cant say I blame them.
 
There's a new virus that has some in Washington nervous--I think it's called "Bolton-Itis."

Do any Trump supporters have any problem with his blatant lie about not knowing Parnas? Or is this excused just because lying is what Trump does and is doesn't affect you personally?

Give it a few days and Trump will be like....Bolton? I dont recall a Bolton I hardly knew the guy, was he a coffee boy, and all the Trumper's will be like see Trump does not even know the guy obviously he is lying to sell his book lol....

TBH, they all lie imo. Both sides of the isle. Im more disturbed how Biden used VPoffice to make 5 seperate family members millionaires on 5 seperate occasions including this one, or how Hillary bleeched bit and destroyed computers she used to as secretary of state to grow the clinton foundation etc. But that gets washed under the rug. However because Trump vetted the Ukraine before sending more of our money over there,knowing full well Joe B had blackmailed once already and bragged about it doesnt bother me a bit. Again this all about 2020 election and nothing else. The transcript is there of the phone call for all to read.

1. Ooops, I forgot about the "both sides lie" defense of Trump. My bad.
2. This is the typical "look at the birdie" diversion tactic to defend Trump. I asked about Trump lying about Parnas and the response is to look at Biden and Hillary. smh
 
Very interesting to see how this plays out. This leak happened at the perfect time for Trump as his lawyers can now defend him publicly in the trial instead of having to deal with it later when Trump is closer to the election.

You would be wise, before buying the NYT article today that just happens to coincide with Bolton releasing a book for sale at the same time.
THE NYT IS SUPOSEDLY QUOTING ANONYMOUS SOURCE. HAS NOT LAID EYES ON ANY MANUSCRIPT. If this is a he said ,she said with someone who has a grief with the other said party, Im sorry that doesn't fly. Saying I wanted to withhold funding as oppossed to I did withhold funding are 2 seperate issues.
The lies by the house mgrs is ok I guess, to many to count. Just like the fabricated fisa lies are all ok. Look at ole Carter Page. Hope his lawyers clean house suing the Fed Govt, where the justice dept had to go back and admit to all the wrongdoing. Just more of our tax dollars.

I never seem to re call any issues,post being raised about those things. Maybe Ive missed it along the way. Buy the Way, wheres the whistle blower? Lets get the whistle blower up there, Bidens,Bolton. Let it all roll boys over a phone call you have the transcript to. Nothing but a few more million dollars tax money.

Why do you you need Trump supporters to aknowledge these things? What does it change? Absolutely nothing. Perhaps I dont speak for everybody here who supports him but Trump supporters have NO PROBLEMS with this phone call. For the love of Pete the two men that had the phone call BOTH SAID there was no issue so why the hell would I care what John Bolton says? He called it a drug deal? Ok....This is the opinion of a man that got fired. Bring on the next of the fleet of individuals who arent Trump or Zelensky, the two men at the center of this

It seems as if some of you are thinking the things you post are going to flip somebodys opinion of Trump on this. By all means post what you feel folks but I dont think any of us are going to sway the other's opinion during or after this nonsense is over. Your outrage does nothing but provide a chuckle for the rest of us but I digress.....

I already stated that I watched the full hour of Schiff presenting 10 reasons why Trump was looking for personal (political) gains in his behavior toward Ukraine as opposed to being motivated by what's best for and consistent with our foreign policy and support for our friend, Ukraine. He backed up every detail of his 10 points with videos and transcripts mainly from Trump admin folks and even from Trump, himself.

You're still doing the "look at the birdie" diversion to my original question about whether or not Trump supporters are ok with Trump blatantly lying about not knowing Parnas.

Bolton has confirmed it is what he said through his lawyer.......they blame the WH for leaking it....
