No greater point showing this than immigration. The democrats want the votes, the GOP want the cheap labor. Neither side wants to change anything because it fires up their base and we end up with mass illegal immigration with the ability to pay them sub-par wages with no chance of upward growth just because it is better than what they had. It's sad all the way around.
Lot of truth here. They all want to stay in power, therefore they cant solve the issues or else, in their mind, their existence is no longer needed. And there is unfortunately some truth to this.... consider when the GOP had control of the house, Senate and WH yet couldn't pass immigration reform, now that Dems have the house it's back to pointing fingers. They were cowards when they had control, fearful they'd lose votes. Along similar lines I'm also convinced the left keeps certain groups of people down so they think they need them, just to stay in power. It's why the dems are scared to death when the economy is good and unemployment is low, people start to realize they can take care of themselves and don't need the Gov't. They use educational institutions to propagate their delusional message, the world is against you, you can't make it on your own, your failing because of your race or where you came from, this group or that group hates you, without Gov't assistance you can't survive.... and then, we understand, we support you, vote for me and I'll give you everything you need. Wash, rinse, repeat...
Again it's why we have Trump, many people were just sick of the political spin cycle

I see the left has gone all in on it's gun grab platform now.... let me throw out a few points:
1) The 2nd amendment isn't about hunting, no one on either side of the debate should ever use this argument
2) Without the 1st and 2nd amendments all other amendments are futile
3) There is no gun that is specifically an "assault weapon", fact is any weapon used to assault another individual is an assault weapon (knife, bat, hammer, fist, just to name a few)
4) There are enormous gun laws on the books now, either they aren't followed (more times than not), enforced or incompetence/laziness renders those procedures useless
5) Evil is real and evil will find a way
There are over 35K inmates in some 56 prisons across the state of NC alone, no one has a gun inside those facilities, not even the employees. Yet assaults inflicting injury and death occurs every month, inmate on inmate and unfortunately inmate on employees (obviously never a gun utilized).... maybe it's a loose example, but my point is when one wants to carry out horrific atrocities they improvise by any means necessary. Mass killings have occurred all across the world since it's very existence but guns are the only weapon of choice targeted as the "culprit", never the individuals responsible. Don't let the left fool you, it's not about "safety for our children" (which by the way, safety for my children, me, my family is why I carry) it's more about disarming a citizenry. Government can never have full control unless they disarm it's citizens first.

Don't forget that most gun crimes are committed with handguns, the least likely to be banned.
Also, most gun deaths in America are suicides which says that instead of targeting guns we should improve mental health treatment, same works for a lot of mass shooters.

Great points and exactly right. They never mention suicides in their numbers, again a means of taking advantage of the uninformed voter. And yes MH is a huge issue that is never the focus.....hmmm it's almost as if they don't want to solve the issue.

Excellent points and look at what's happened in Venezuela. Since the government took away the ability for citizens to defend themselves they now have no means to overthrow the dictator there. Look at what's happened with Antifa in Oregon. That's a sample of what the left wants in the future if/when they are successful in disarming the American public. I have no doubt these demonstrations where the Antifa beat people up are small scale "test runs" for the day the political activists hope to gain full control. Imagine a society where the thugs like Antifa do their bidding, the police stand by and law abiding citizens like you and I have no way to defend ourselves and our families. That's the goal of the left (socialism/communism) and the end result is disastrous if it is fully realized (China, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, etc. to name a few).
I would love to see Trump win again in 2020. I don't agree with everything he says or does but I think it's pretty clear he loves America, the economy is strong, he's trying to protect our national sovereignty/borders and isn't afraid to say what he thinks. I wonder what excuse the left will come up with if he wins in 2020? North Korea/China collusion? Voter fraud? A stolen election because we don't go by the popular vote?

I used to be a lot more moderate/left-leaning on gun control before I started researching and seeing how a lot of anti-gun people use fallacies. Such as appeals to emotion or scapegoating groups like the NRA.
Also, a lot of anti-gun activists if not all of them seem to have little to no actual experience around guns which makes their attempts at passing anti-gun legislation dodgy.

I will support and defend anyone's right to speak their mind (in fact I have made that defense in court a few times); speaking however does not equate with violence; if anyone comes to my front door to tell me they're here to liberate my home in the name of God knows who or what ... my 2nd Amendment rights will, if called for and necessary, speak instantaneously and loudly if not with deafening volume ... btw ... life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness ... in the heirarchy, life (including mine and yours) is the 1st (wonder why?) ... now, back to weather ...

“Antifa Plans Acid Attack on D.C. Free Speech Rally, Promises To Blind Attendees
Attendees at an upcoming free speech rally have been threatened with acid attacks via social media.
The threats were made on a popular right wing Telegram channel. A user with the name “POUND ON YOUR BOY” made several threats against the rally, prompting co-organizer Enrique Tarrio to contact the FBI and DHS, who are now planning to provide additional security to the event.
Over the course of about 10 minutes last night, the “POUND ON YOUR BOY” account asked how the D.C. event is “coming along”, and referenced muriatic acid multiple times.
According to Tarrio, the threat is especially dangerous due to the use of wax. Muriatic acid can be purchased in virtually any pool store or home improvement store, and is already dangerous on its own with the ability to cause minor burns, but can quickly be washed off with water. By combining the muriatic acid with wax, it will immediately form a film similar to candle wax on the injured person’s skin.
Tarrio explains that this could allow the burn to become severe, and even lead to the wax and acid entering the injured person’s blood stream and causing cardiac arrest.
“It starts with milk shakes, then it escalates to what happened to Andy Ngo, and now they’re threatening us with acid attacks,” Tarrio told Big League Politics, referencing the severe attack experienced by Ngo earlier today, when Antifa groups threw milk shakes at him and repeatedly struck and kicked him. “All because we want to defend free speech in Washington, D.C.”
Truly scary and what makes it worse is the Antifa does this in gun free areas where they know people will be defenseless. It’s about time this group of domestic terrorism gets investigated and people locked up... for a LONG time.

To support Gawx and Brent statements. Just look at the Nike Betsy Ross Shoe charade by Kaepernick. I been telling friends past couple of years to just wait, there will be a big push from the left to change American flag. This is a prime example. They want stop with confederate monuments, Thomas Jefferson statues, In God We Trust. Etc, never ends. Just keep chipping and chipping away.

And here’s the thing, if you read about a lot of the hatred and violence that’s going on it’s coming from the left/activists and further incited by the news media selectively reporting these things with their own slant further dividing people on issues.
At the end of the day though you don’t see people on the conservative side forming mobs and beating people up like Antifa has been and continues to do. You don’t see them joking about a severed head of the president like Kathy Griffin did awhile back. And when something happens like the reporter Andy Ngo who was beaten up by Antifa you see people on the left throw out human rights/morality and instead claim he deserved it (as if that justifies it somehow) or somehow incited the violence (when video shows otherwise).
I’ve noticed over the years that it’s mainly people that are on the political left that are the ones pushing hate, labeling people they disagree with as racists and other names, and backing the groups like Antifa that are nothing more than domestic terrorists. I strongly disagree with these positions and actions of people on the left but you don’t see conservatives going around spewing this type of hatred and violence on a daily basis.
Think of all the people who have worn a MAGA hat and been attacked for it or the Democrats who have publicly said for people to heckle anyone who supports/works for Trump (specifically politicians and aides). My point in all this is that while our country is divided over political views, and it has been for awhile now, the main concern I have is the recent surge in violence and vitriol from the left towards anyone who disagrees with their viewpoints. This is supposed to be a country where we are free to express differing viewpoints but instead the left is trying to change it into one where you agree with them or else you’re racist, xenophobic and sexist if you don’t and deserving of violence/heckling.

Its coming, it may be 20-30 years away but it is coming.

Yep telling them to harass them in the store, at the gasoline stations (Maxine Waters), at their home, confronting numerous GOP officials in restaurants, etc... attacking Sen. Paul, shooting at Republican congressional members on a softball field, faking racist attacks by men wearing MAGA hats (Chicago), the list of out right hatred goes on and on. The left has been chipping away at our countries foundation for years and now they have enough people here to basically go on a full attack to completely split this nation. And the media will fuel the flames, blaming conservatives on their 24 hour fake news spin cycles. Personally as much as it saddens me to say it, I don't see a reversal at this point and I'd rather see a split instead of libs having full control, disarming the citizens and rendering us useless.
I kind of see why politicians support liberal policies, as I've posted before, its really all about staying in power. But what I don't understand is why the people can't recognize conservative policies work, it's been proven time and time again. Tongue in cheek, I really do know why and no time to go in to that now.....all I'll say is evil is real and evil is at work but God is still on the throne.
