It surprises you that people support Trump? Bill Clinton is a serial rappist, his wife a woman who destroyed the women he abused. Together they have been the most corrupt 2 people in the modern history of politics and they are STILL TO THIS DAY put up on a pedestal by Democrats. Im not sure what you expect Trump supporters to do. Cry foul everytime he tweets? Not vote for him next year? I guess it all depends on how you define support. I dont care for his social media antics. I sure as hell dont care about his past. What I and most others who support him with our vote do so because he has disrupted DC like no other, he has exposed the leftist media for the scum they are, and despite every attempt by the other side to bring him down from Day 1, he has managed to move forward the things we expected him to do. Its not complicated when you take your emotions out of the equation.
Oh he's disrupted it alright it's ten times worse there's no partisanship now....its his way or the highway the whole administration has been the biggest joke in modern history and as an Iraq vet the middle east is a dumpster fire look at Syria last month pathetic.....smdh

Well put ! But be careful. I posted awhile ago that I didn't vote for Trump to be my moral leader and I got reamed by a well respected (and deservedly so) poster. Someone else said the MSM is not at fault for division in our country and that the press treats Trump fairly. I don't understand that perspective no matter what side your on.

Other than tax cuts for the rich what has he done for the good ole average joe.....not much nor has the dems everybody is so hung up on each other they have forgot you and me the two party system has to go in my opinion I hope to see there demise in my lifetime.

I spent 14 years of my life in Iraq and Afghanistan and still do contract work over there even after retiring. Its always been a dumpster fire and while I have mixed emotions about Syria, you cant put any of this ---- at the feet of Trump

Think Clinton was consensual sex, trump filled his office with bottom feeding swamp dwellers.

You know good and we'll what i meant then. Pulling out of the boarder and turning our backs on the Kurds is a mistake and strategically reckless. Bad policey across the board we need a stronger troop presence period!!! Seven years three tours 101st

Im not gonna argue this topic on the internet. I will bow out before I do that. Not worth it

Interesting. Probably not surprising since this guy is more of a moderate Democrat but it seems he plans on switching to the Republican Party because of how the whole impeachment process was handled... or maybe just wanting to distance himself from it for 2020 chances at reelection.

Very interesting and expected

That article is pretty misleading most sources put the number of Dems that will vote no at around 6 with 10-12 on the high side, out of 233 Dems in the House....not really wide scale lol.....
It's because it's from breitbart, which is known to be heavily biased toward the right and has a chance of being legit fake news.

It doesn’t matter imo as the Senate won’t convict barring something totally unseen and Trump will very likely get re-elected assuming the Dow/economy remain strong. “It’s the economy, stupid.” Geez, even the hugely anti-Trump SNL writers have over the last few weeks been frustratingly hinting at Trump still winning. When even SNL thinks Trump has it, it can’t be good for Dems. Of course, Alec Baldwin may secretly want this lol. I think Trump’s odds are now up to 75% and rising.

I think Warren’s collapse in the polls is very telling. The US will not elect a socialist/extreme lefty. And as much as I’ve been a Biden fan, he looks weak to me right now as a candidate, unfortunately. He’s kind of reminding me of McCain in 2008 and Dole In 1996. Is Bloomberg the only hope for Dems? Perhaps but probably not because its left wing won’t support a very wealthy candidate as silly as that sounds.

I realize it's right wing, but I still found it a surprise to me and interesting. Belive it or not, I look at all types of news sites for info, and I watch MSNBC more than Fox.

Interesting considering the source....

Probably because most Americans aren't very vocal about their political views unless asked or unless they're on the extreme end. Every week Trump does something that makes him stoop lower and lower in how America sees him. I'd say he lost a lot of his base but that still doesn't mean he won't get re-elected. What people seem to lean toward by that poll would mean that Americans don't like the way Trump acts and want someone less emotional and less over the top who doesn't pound whatever gets within a mile of them.

I don't agree with what I marked in bold. His base seems rock solid to me. This is evident in folks I talk to as well as posts here and elsewhere. I'm sure he lost some base, but not a lot. And he may have gained a nontrivial amount of nonbase to make up for a good portion of the base he lost. The main reason imo is the strong economy/Dow. He's still a horse's tush!
