This is outside the SE so I guess it goes here....the Rem low from typhoon Doksuri dropped 2 feet of rain in 24 hrs on some of the most populated land on earth....the death toll could be very high but as of now its only being reported as a few dozen.

this seems pretty horrible, reports said the Coast Guard is rescuing people from the ocean after the fled into it to escape death....Hurricane Dora outer windfield is impacting them making this much worse.
