Well, I can’t compare to the excitement of everyone else. I haven’t seen many fantasy storms so far, but I’m just being whiny, lots of cold though! Taking verbatim of the 00z GFS, this is strong potential for the folks west of the apps!

You know you’ve got some wicked blocking when lows run south to north on a line all the way into Greenland. Nowhere to go.
And the the wave train continues even at 15 days out.

FWIW the GEFS has a few good members for the Apps with the first system early next week. Even a few members have flurries near Atlanta.
