Pattern Oh my its July

I was just at a banquet behind the Dortches Red an White not 2 months ago. Multiple friends from HS days living that area still.

Loading section for the plant, it was actually the tallest part of the plant but hopefully not many employees in there. No word of severe injuries or deaths so far thankfully
It’s tough for Nash county though after the QVC fire. I’m pretty sure Pfizer is their second biggest employer or at least top 5. Gotta hope there isn’t too much downtime.

My buddy works at the plant . He said the gamma building where they irradiate stuff was destroyed
Scary stuff ! The videos of that tornado and damage, is impressive.
I worked at a place in the 2000s that had a cobalt 60 irradiator, scary stuff and the last place in the building you want damaged!!

There's a video from the parking lot of Pfizer but the language is really bad. Shows the Pfizer building being destroyed

If your looking for silver lining. At work we all come in so early, we usually get a 3 -4 week window before and after summer solstice, where its not just pitch black dark. Today was a noticeable change for the 1st time. Still got 6-7 weeks of sultry weather here to go, but its atleast heading in right direction. Honestly its not been bad here at all. Normal run of mill climo Heat,Humidity at best this spring /summer.

Where are you located again? I forgot.

Greenville just keeps winning! Wettest summer I can remember! Y’all are welcome! AF4BA999-2F30-444C-B355-024CCBD5DC6B.png

Bad timing here for the past 10 days. The MCS from the northwest die after sunset and we get nothing but a few cloudy mornings. If I don't see rain tomorrow or Saturday, it looks like another 7 day stretch of nothing. Gonna start getting really dry with highs in the 90's. Maybe Greenville, SC can ship some of that water down here?

I haven't had much rain since April anyways, the drought monitor is definitely wrong for my area.

Was hoping to get over 10 inches of rain for July now I'm really starting to think it won't rain again this month. This big western ridge is great if you time everything perfect but it's meager if you are missing
I'm not a fan of northwest flow in summer and fall. It's ok in spring and gets the cold here for some snow chances in winter. I will do better with a Bermuda high. Weird that the trough keeps repeating in the east. How long will it continue?

Almost 6" here, I'd be ok with no more this month tbh
