Driving back from Oak Island this afternoon, I got caught in what must have been a train of storms between Lumberton and Laurinburg on 74. Heavy rain and thunder/lightning the whole. Got home about an hour ago and now the bottom has fallen out here.

Not saying she is lying but I don’t buy it looking at those photos. The bricks should insulate the mailbox and keep it much cooler unless it is staying 100+ during the night as well. I don’t see how you would have enough time for the bricks to heat up in the few hours of direct sunlight.
Now once again I may be mistaken. I’d be convinced if this was a standard standalone metal mailbox painted black though.

I can't imagine not having AC in this weather.FFC says temps near 100 and dp's near 75 later this week in parts of GA. Sounds like fun !
