Here are some screenshots from the ABC11 chopper. Significant damage to the warehouse portion of the Pfizer plant. Hopefully not many employees are in that area.

Loading section for the plant, it was actually the tallest part of the plant but hopefully not many employees in there. No word of severe injuries or deaths so far thankfully
It’s tough for Nash county though after the QVC fire. I’m pretty sure Pfizer is their second biggest employer or at least top 5. Gotta hope there isn’t too much downtime.

Yes but the setup itself was pretty ripe with the mcv being so well defined locally enhancing shear and the time of day keeping the lid on a big expansive tstorm shield
The second EF-3 tornado in NC since 1950 in the month of July. A moderately strong one at that as the NWS says 150 MPH max winds.

My buddy works at the plant . He said the gamma building where they irradiate stuff was destroyed

My brother in law works there. Miracously everyone is ok. The plant is closed indefinitely.

Scary stuff ! The videos of that tornado and damage, is impressive.
I worked at a place in the 2000s that had a cobalt 60 irradiator, scary stuff and the last place in the building you want damaged!!
