Pattern October Thread

Nvr.

Seriously though we might get a few showers or some sprinkles this afternoon with this first wave but I think a lot gets eaten by dry air aloft. Better chance of steadier heavier stuff is 7pm on
Looks like a lot of wet! ?29ACE05C-FD19-43C0-8B12-6D016D183A90.png

NWS was forecasting 63 today, it looks like the airport will fall short at around 59. Edit: Got up to 60.

Made it to 73*F at DFW today, a couple degrees above what models predicted. The day will still end up above average because of the warm overnight low.

FWD has increased highs a bit today, now ranging from 70*F to 71*F.

We'll see of they're right, and if the 70*F+ temp streak continues.

Average high now, BTW, is 73*F.

Also, even with temps cooling down to end the month, DFW is on track for a top 10 warmest October on record.

A ridge gets tou 5 to 10 above normal and a cold front brings you back to normal. Maybe there will be correct checks n balances in the future. Hoping for cold fronts to balance out ridges, not this back to normal mess.

What you get in total? I'm at 0.76" from over night.
It's a good question to be honest weather flow says .65 but radar estimate is double. I'm waiting on the cocorahs person that lives near me to turn in their ob to see.

I thought for sure this October would average warmer than last year, but these last few days may bring it below 2020.

I just turned my heat on this morning, lol...46 and heavy drizzle, will be a cold night here in ATL for the World Series, BRAVES.

Can you link the weather station you're using, or is it a home thermometer?

Now I just want a frost to say bye bye to this growing season see you in 2022
No too early , would mean we had an incredibly short growing season this year . Prolly shortest of the century shoot . Thank to spring really. Let’s delay any hard freezes till the end of November. We are due.
