Pattern Novemburrr

Pretty quiet in here. Are12z models delaying the cold again for the southeast?

Fun pattern next week tbh. Initial front tries to push south Monday/Tuesday and stalls while wave or 2 in the flow moves through. Depending on the amplitude it could be a really chilly light rain or a little bit of SE ridging and the front inches back north for a day or 2 before hopefully the final wave comes through and we get a legitimately cold shot for next weekend.

Why would u want it cold in November for anyway… rather get the cold In December and January so we can score a winter storm… I haven’t seen to many snows in November around these parts country

For me, I just like cold/cool. Snow is becoming increasingly harder to find even in Jan/Feb. I'd much rather have cold and no snow than warm anytime. We get enough heat and warmth throughout the year, so I'll take cold anytime I can get it, even without snow. Also, what we call "cold" around here isn't really even cold; I always kinda chuckle when I see the cold haters on here complaining about cold; I mean most of us haven't even had a good frost yet.

I'd take the November 2000 snow over a good amount I have seen around here in the last decade. Awesome mashed potatoes event
Remember this well. Covered Grass on Sun in church. Gone before I could get the last piece of fried chicken down for lunch.

My parents are going to the NC mountains next weekend. I feel Ike they gonna see some snow

2000 was a spectacular year. That January had 4 winter storms inside a 2 week period, one the crusher. Latter calendar year Nov 19th was that week before turkey day snow above.

Because we haven't had one yet and because it's a little late for them here?

Don't forget the big snow in Mid December 2000 and the snow event right before New Years.
