What site is that from? TT used to have the AI but it doesn't update half the time anymore.
It’s here! One of the more sudden wind shifts/increases I’ve seen with a front honestly. 59 at Carter Finley and 64 here on campus

We did it! 
Yeah the EC AI is ridiculously good with the progression of the pattern. Extends the pacific jet and gets Aleutian troughing going resulting in +PNA combined with -EPO. I’m shocked at the staying power of the -NAO though

Be a good test to see if the AIFS is good or not so good this winter. I see where the AIFS is coming from to an extent
Stiff winds under cool clear skies tonight is giving me the warm and fuzzies. Hard to beat.

I was gonna say I was back east during the October front here... This is the coldest night of the season I've been home for by far
Only 2 days over 60 in the next 15 days too this weekend... The cold is slowly but surely overtaking the forecast

EC AI is really close to a Dec 2018 type evolution

Greetings again. Figured I’d pop my head in after a while since things are looking pretty sweet on modeling.
Selfishly here in Southern Illinois I’m getting pumped and GEFS hit a huge uptick in winter precip members this go round for around thanksgiving.
But for the southern friends this certainly can’t be bad news. It may be early December and I know many aren’t used to us getting in on the action early.. but this pattern holds some true potential if we can tap into the Arctic like the recent models have been advertising. Throw some decent snow pack to y’all’s north as well and that is never a bad thing.

Got down to a low of 38.6 this morning, after the NWS predicted a low of 42 for my location.
31.8 for our first official freeze. Only hit 32.1 back in October.

Same here last night in Roanoke. Im sure Luke noticed too. Was out putting chickens away, came in, then the wind picked up instantly.
I still have pepper plants flowering. I think tonight will be the first real freeze to finally end that.
My eyes are on 12/2-3! Hope it pans out for us all...
39 for a low, up to 52. May get past that 56 high temp forecast, but still very nice change

Sugar Mountain off to the races 
Looking more likely that CHA will end up freezeless for meteorological fall (Sept/Oct/Nov). That has only happened twice since 1879. Basically a once in a lifetime occurrence.
Atlanta just gusted to 45mph. Pretty big bust on temps as well. 54 was the projected high and made it up to 61
Hate the BL is too warm looks like we will get some precip over the area this evening
The air is very dry, my dewpoint dipped into the teens. My high on this side of town is 53.4 so far.

The real snow has started across all the high country past 30 mins. Should get ski season off to a great start this year

That is interesting. I've got 57.2 and a dewpoint of 31.2 on this side of town. We have a ton of soil moisture around here, though.
Figured there was an upper level trough moving through, which would explain the differences in the air masses between us. There are drastic temperature swings with elevation in these setups. NW Georgia in the great valley is also in the high 50s right now.
